Hoop De Doo Revue

Would HDDR be appropriate for our 2 1/2 yr old DS? We have never been and are wondering if he is too young or if he would really enjoy it.

Thanks!

We took DD at 2 1/2. She enjoyed most of the show. She didn't get the jokes, of course, but she liked the music and she laughed when everyone else laughed. I don't think she knew or cared what she was laughing at, she was just laughing. She clapped and we set her down near our table so she could dance a little. It does get loud though. If your little one has a dislike of loud noises or loud places you may want to keep that in mind. DD, at that age, wore out before the end of the show and my mom had to take her out about 10 minutes before it was over. We did the 7:15 show though that year. If I had it to do again I'd have gone with the 5:00 show and then I'm sure she'd have made it the whole way through.

yeah, but think about it, most of us do start planning about 2 years in advance. I drive my family crazy asking if they'd rather do this or do that, like we're going next week..... when in fact it's 22 months away!!:rotfl2: Disney will do that to ya.

I have a question..... what if you have a picky eater? I thought I read somewhere that you could request chicken fingers or something else "basic"? Has anyone ever actually done this or seen it done? It would be such a waste for my one son who would only eat the corn bread.

Unless I am dreaming, I remember reading that you can request mac and cheese but I don't know about anything else. DD will not eat beans and I plan on asking for mac and cheese instead for her. But that would make sense to have chicken nuggets or fingers too upon request. Anyone?

What!! No corn on the cob!!!! Why??? Does anyone know why? I love corn on the cob, I am so depressed now. I'm going a week from sunday. :scared1:

KevGuy, please give us an update when you get back. Thanks, hope you have/had a wonderful time.

We always ask for chicken fingers and fries for my son and our servers have always been happy to bring them. One server even offered grapes and carrots to go with the fries and chicken strips.

I, too, thought it was one year, but called yesterday and it's 180 days. I have a couple of q's for everyone...with deluxe dining plan, it's cat 2 or 3 seating. Is that assigned by when you make your ressie or by when you get to the show, meaning should we arrive 1 hour in advance of 7:15 or more? Also I read that boat from MK to FW is the best way to get there. We're staying at the Poly-Is the boat launch near the Poly boat launch at MK?Should we take the boat from Poly to MK then to FW or monorail to MK and then find the FW boat launch? Thanks for helping me with this!

We are doing the Hoop De Doo in June and I can't wait! A little disappointed in the basically all carb menu but what are vacations for right? :cool1:
