We have 5 PM reservations for the HDR and plan on going to Typhoon Lagoon that morning. Since we are staying off site and will be paying for parking at TL, can we use the same parking receipt to park at the Magic Kingdom and take the boat over?

I'm thinking my son may get a kick out riding the boat or is it much better to drive to FW and park there?

THANKS!

Not sure about that. What is the parking fee for TL? Is it the same as at the theme parks? If it is, I would say you have a good chance of being able to use the same pass.

Hopefully, Tyler (Chip N Dale Express) will be along to give you a better idea.

The question is Do you know if MK will be open when you get out of HDDR?

If MK is closed, the boat will not be running. You would have to take a bus to the TTC.

I would vote for parking at FW and taking the internal bus to Pioneer hall.

If you are there early enough, you can still take a round trip ride on the boat.

There is no charge for parking at the water parks.

As betterlatethannever recommends, drive to Fort Wilderness and take the internal bus to Pioneer Hall.

Thanks for the tips - if there is no charge for parking at the Water PArks, then we will certainly drive over to FW.

Parking is free at Typhoon Lagoon.

In order for you to take the boat to Fort Wilderness, you'd have to park at the TTC, take the tram in, then take the Monorail or Ferry to the MK, and then take the boat to WL/FW. It'd be much easier to park (for free) at Fort Wilderness and take the 5 minute bus ride to Pioneer Hall.

Depending on how you drive to FW, you may go through the MK parking booths. If you find yourself there, bear towar the right hand. The lane to the far right is just for buses but you want to be as close to that lane as possible. Explain to the cm collecting parking fees that you are going to FW. You should not have to pay MK parking. They'll direct you to a single lane road on the right...instead of swooping to the left with all the MK folk. Soon after you're on that road, you'll take a right curve following signs for FW.

Sorry if you already know this.:D

No, I did not know that, thank you for the tip!! And thanks to all for the help, its our first time for the HDR and we are looking forward to it!

Parking is free at the water park and when you get to the gate at MK and tell them you are going to the dinner show you don't pay to park but when you get to the out post you still have to take a bus to the Hall any bus from the out post stops at the hall
