Hoop-D-Doo Rumored Returning?

I saw this post over on the News and Rumors thread. Hopefully there is some truth to this. It has been years since I went to HDDR and I was hoping to see it when I'm at the Fort in January.

"I was watching a live stream of Yehaa Bob's first return performance tonight and he was singing a song from Hoop Dee Doo that they no longer sing. The interesting part is he casually mentioned before he started the song that Hoop Dee Doo is supposed to return in January. I hope he is right and wish it was sooner but still good news if that is the plan. "

I've always felt confident (maybe delusional ) HDDR would be back. There have been little rumors recently (reported call backs for some of the actors), but definitely nothing to indicate when.

Fingers crossed it's January or sooner.

You have to try it. Some say its dated and campy. For me, it was awsome. My daughter had a blast, but so did I. Food was very good , and drinks were included. So value wise, probably best on any disney properties. Dinner , drinks and a show. Plus you can do it on an off day. And its fun.

I honestly don't remember the food. I thought the show was fun. It has probably been at least 15 years. I know Ian was little.

We usually are in the parks everyday and catching one of the night time shows at the park. This trip we only have 10 day tickets for the 14 days we are there, so enough non-park days to add in HDDR.

The HDDR and the train are the last two things on my "must-do" list. I check every day to see announcements about HDDR returning...I know the train is a long shot but it wouldn't have been running anyways back for our May 2020 trip....really hoping to get HDDR though.

Saw this on the News and Rumors. Let's hope it wasn't a CM just trying to appease a caller.

I spoke to a cast member today from Resort Reservations and she said it was scheduled to open before our trip, but did not give a date. She said to read the Disney Blog for updates. We're going at the end of November.

This, absolutely! Leave it alone, it's the reason it has run for so long as it's one of the last things that Disney hasn't strangled...errr...I mean "updated"
