We bought one last month at JC Penney for DD. Her friends loved it and went out to buy their own. I'll keep an eye out at Old Navy (thanks for the tip) because I'm sure it will wear out quickly from overuse. I think we paid $26 on sale before discount coupon.
She's already lost one of the rubber earbud pieces. I replaced them with parts from an old pair of earbuds that stopped working properly. My kids are brutal - I make them buy their own earbuds/headphones now, so they'll take better care of them, which has helped tremendously.
Washing instructions say wash separately or with like colors in cold water; line dry; do not bleach or iron.
The tag also says to check pockets and remove the electronic devices (like iPods) The device has its own little zippered pocket, which would be easy to miss if you didn't know it was there.
I was trying to figure out if, come the inevitable end of earbud life, I could replace the earbud and wires, but it would be easier to cut/remove the equipment, then just use it as a regular jacket.
