Honoring Ana/Elsa Meet and Greet FastPass+

If I manage to snag a FastPass+ for the Ana and Elsa Meet and Greet once it moves to Magic Kingdom, will the cast members honor a FastPass+ reservation if it is towards the end of the day and the line is long (which I am imagining it will be)? We would like to save that as a surprise for our girls and do it last before heading out of the park, but I'd hate to get there say, an hour before they are done, and be told no dice. Any thoughts on how they will handle this?

If you have a FP+ reservation and the window has not expired they will let you use it. The length of the standby line at the end of A&E's "day" won't have anything to do with the FP+ queue.

It's been reported that A&E will stop meeting at 5:00, so your "as we're leaving the park" scenario might not work.

The only way a FP+ for a character M&G wouldn't be honored (as long as you show up during your designated time slot) would be if A&E couldn't show up for work that day for some reason.

Yes, currently the M&G is scheduled to end at 5:00. I've heard the latest FP+ time slot available is 3:30 to 4:30.

Are you talking about using your FP+ outside of the window booked? It has to be used at the time it is for. It can't be saved for later.

I have a 3:55-4:55 FP+ window for A&E in mid June.

Thanks for the update. It was discussed in a thread a week or two ago and the 3:30 to 4:30 time was the latest anyone had posted.

Anna and Elsa dont' greet up until park closing. Somebody else posted that they only greet until 5.

If you are asking if they will honor the fastpass at a time past its return window, I hear they may have a grace period of about 15 minutes after the window expires - haven't seen it in practice - but beyond that, no dice.

I should have re - worded this. Yes, I meant towards the end of the meet and greet time. If they meet until 5, and my FP is between 4 and 5, can I show up at say, 4:45 and still be accommodated and end up waiting just 15 minutes? I'm trying to minimize the wait time

In theory, yes.

The ladies are not stopping at a hard 5:00, I believe that's just when the FP booking stops. They'll be available a bit longer, but are NOT a guarantee for Standby.

Sorry, mis-read with my first answer. I missed that you have a FP. You will likely still have a longer than 15 min wait, but how much longer won't be known until we watch this for several days and see how far behind the FP+ line is running at the end of the day.
