Very timely post as DH and I will be going to HK this December! We're planning to hit Disneyland first, then do the city. Trick is, we'll be getting in and doing the park on Christmas!! Anybody know if it's as nuts as it is at the Florida parks that day?

Most people in China don't celebrate Christmas. Their major holiday is Chinese New Year. It shouldn't be that crowded, just a normal day.

Excuse me. You know that they don't celebrate it as much as we do though. Most people in China are buddists

Obviously the Chinese are less into Christmas than the folks here in the USA, but does anyone know what the park crowds are like on the actual holiday? We've booked our trip and made our ressies at the Hollywood Hotel on site. We have our "special day" tickets reserved, but we're just wondering what to expect. We've been to WDW a few times over that time period and it's nuts but we know it's nuts and we can deal. Just wondering whether to brace ourselves!

Wow no POTC, HM, SM, BTM they are very short on the ride list - DisneySea
on the other hand would love to go there.

On this same trip we're going through Tokyo and will do Disneyland and Disney Sea there as well. However, it's several days earlier so not so concerned there (understand it is pretty much always crowded, so know what to expect). Can't wait!
