Does anyone have any good ideas on what I can surprise my fiance with when we go on our honeymoon? I want to surprise him with something but the disney florist baskets aren't something I can see him being excited about. It is more like things the girl would be excited about.

Does he like Universal Studios/Islands of Adventures? Maybe tickets there too?

Or a tour: The Segway around the World or Behind the Steam Trains tour. Or even the Keys to the Kingdom tour.

Do they still do the nascar racing? I'm going to look into getting that for my DF.

You should call Betsy at Memories By Betsy. she does custom gift baskets with anything you want in them disney related. She charges cost for all the items and $25 to wrap and deliver it... Very reasonable. I had one made for DF for our upcoming trip with a Hidden Mickey Book, and ESPN tiriva book, a refillable mug and mickey wine glasses in it. She will do anything you want! I even had her put a bar of the mickey ginger ale soap that DF loves in it! She is so nice and accomidating as well! I give her 2 thumbs up:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

One of the water parks offers surfing lessons in the morning, that could be a fun surprise followed by some tonga toast at Kona cafe?

A cake delivered to a resteraunt or your room?

A carriage ride at POFQ?

A fireworks pontoon boat surpise?

A fancy dinner at California Grill or Narcoosees or Victorias & Alberts?

What is he into? Does he golf?

Depending on your budget, you should consider the Richard Petty Driving Experience. I did this for DH and he absolutely loved it! I believe there are discounts if you have an AP, so be sure to check for discounts if you are going to book it.

Honeymoon well you can create a coupon book. (back rub, jail free card:rotfl2: you know different type of things.) Dedicate a day to him guys are so much simpler than we are I am a romantic Freak and I would love romantic cruises or carrige rides. All the idea I have read on this thread are good:thumbsup2.

Can you provide more information on your fiance?

Take a walk to a romantic picnic or a restaurant.

Pamper him and you;) a couples massage sounds good too.

I am going to borrow your question too. I too am going to Disney for my honeymoon in July as well and I am having a hard time trying to figure out something to do for him too. Isn't their a fireworks cruise or something like that?

He always does such nice things for me and surprising me and I can never think of anything for him.

We have done the "Around The World" segway tour in Epcot twice and it is wonderful. It is so cool to be in Epcot WS before it is open to the public and the segways are so much fun.

We are going down to Disney this coming March for my DH's birthday. I have booked the Mickey's Magical Milestone Tour for his birthday surprise. The tour is given Monday, Wednesday and Friday and his birthday lands on a Monday so we will do it on his actual birthday. I told them when I booked it that this was his birthday so hopefully they will wish him a happy birthday. Since we have AP's we get a discount and the price is really great. I am so excited about this.

Mickey's Magical Milestones
Magic Kingdom

Mickey's Magical Milestones is a new two-hour tour in the Magic Kingdom. Tour-goers age 10 and up visit attractions and special locations that retrace Mickey Mouse's fabled career. The tour, which costs $25 per person, is held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9 a.m., starting at the Guided Tour Garden adjacent to City Hall (just inside the Magic Kingdom Main Entrance). There is a 15 percent discount available for DVC Members and Annual Passholders. Arrive at least 15 minutes before tour start time (theme park admission is NOT included in tour price). For more information and reservations call 407-WDW-TOUR (939-8687).

Thanks for all your ideas. I guess I should have described him first...

He is very shy (as am I) and as much as he is into sports, probably wouldn't care for the nascar thing. I am going to try to look at the memories by (i cant remember her name) site. I just don't know what kind of things I can put in the basket that he might enjoy. It isn't that I don't know him, it's that I don't know what on earth he would want from disney. I like the baskets on disney florist with the robes and whatnot but they are so so expensive!

I def recommend giving her a call, she had so many great suggestions for me! She is very acommodating and knows what stuff is out there that people might like. :goodvibes

I was wondering the same thing -- what to do for my future husband on our honeymoon! LOVE the segway idea... thanks for that!! :)

I understand your pain! My DF and I will be honeymooning there in June, but as we already have a really good honeymoon package, there's not much left for me to surprise him with! I'm thinking I'm just going to have to buy him something on the sly from one of the stores there... The other suggestions are really good, too!

We're doing the Segway tour, and the Dolphin Experience at Epcot... plus we're going parasailing, which is something we've both always wanted to do. We're doing the Spirit of Aloha luau on his birthday (and I'm gonna try to get him a cake) and I've also had some good suggestions from mad hatter's girl, to walk along the beach at the Polynesian Resort to watch the fireworks (which sounds SOOO romantic) and maybe you could work out some sort of surprise there? Also, I've been told by mad hatter's girl that if you stay at the beach the electrical water parade comes by 30 -45 minutes later.

thank you! I just asked him casually about the segway tour he said "no" and made a face at me. I think we are going to do the dolphin experience too (did you book this already/do you know how we book this) and he mentioned wanting to parasail but i don't know how to go about booking that either!

I'm surprising my DF with the Segway tour too....I think he'll really like that. I thought of the Bass Fishing excursion too, but I don't know when I'd fit it into our schedule!

Here are some robes I got at www.disneyshopping.com. I thought I'd "sneek" back to our room on our first night when we go out (you know, "oh, I forgot my cell phone!") and put these on the bed to surprise him when we return:

Also, we are getting married at Shades of Green (military resort at Disney World), and I bought a brick to go on the path to the gazebo, where we'll be wed. This is what it will look like (of course it will be brick color, this is just what the inscription is going to be):

I love the Poly idea too. We went to Ohana's last summer for dinner, and then laid in one of the hammocks and watched the fireworks. That is one of my fondest memories of the trip, and very romantic!
