Honeymoon Suite at Grand Floridian?

I have friends getting married at the GF in December. They wanted to stay there the night of the wedding and tasked me with finding/booking a room. I’ve called twice to inquire but neither CM had any clue what I was asking. Does the GF have any sort of honeymoon suite? Maybe I’m asking for the wrong thing. It could very well be booked and that’s fine, but I’m just trying to be certain I’ve exhausted all efforts before just resorting to a garden view room.

I did but didn’t see anything recent and based on the two CM’s who didn’t seem to think any sort of honeymoon suite existed, I figured maybe something changed.

If none of the suites are available, I would consider booking a Main Building-Deluxe King - CL room (note their honeymoon on the reservation and request theme park view) or a Main Building - Theme Park View - CL Room (note the honeymoon, this room has a theme park view but two queens).

The deluxe king turret rooms were once known as the honeymoon rooms. This is probably what the OP is thinking of. The turret rooms are awesome...but there are only six of them and only 3 face the MK. Booking a deluxe king could also get you a room on the 2nd floor, these are not turret rooms. Note that is your honeymoon and request a room on the 3rd 4th or 5th floor. Our favorite is the one on the 5th floor facing the MK. The big very expensive suites are the Grand Suite, Roy Suite, Walt Suite and Victoria Suite. Regular suites can be in the main building or any outer building.

You're welcome. In case my post wasn't clear, you want to ask about a deluxe king room. Turret rooms are by request only, there are also deluxe kings on the 2nd floor but are not nearly as big or as nice. Good luck.
