I just got an email to create a Disney Honeymoon Registry!! It looks like everything on the site is working now!!

I tried over the weekend and again today, but it still wasn't able to find my reservation to let me register. (I had gotten my confirmation number by phone from DVC over the weekend, I need to dig up the actual paper tonight.) I'll try again tonight and if that doesn't work then I will call them Wednesday if it's still not working. My fiancee and I are very excited about it.

I hope it doesn't take too long to receive the card....my wedding is in May and you can't make your registry public until you enter the number on the back of the card.

I believe it says 7-14 days, so that should be plenty of time for people to register!

This is pretty exciting, although I'm already registered at Target and Williams Sonoma and our wedding is going to be tiiiiiny...so I don't even think anyone would buy us anything from the honeymoon registry. It was worth requesting a card and setting up, though, because you never know, right? I hope someone surprises us with a lovely dinner at Boma or Tempura Kiku or something

Are you suppose to request a card? I registered and even have all my stuff added for my registry. I didn't see a specific place to request a card though

Requesting the card was part of the registration. Did you get an email with the confirmation number?

Ok, I got the email and tried to register. I have my official reservation form from Disney, and when I put in my reservation number, my phone number (printed on the form) and my DF's last name that the reservation is under, it doesn't work. Anyone else have this problem?? I really want to register since my shower is 3 weeks away and out of state - hoping one or two people might do the honeymoon registry and send me back with less things to carry!

From the email:

"Confirmation Number:xxxxxxxx. Note that this confirmation number is not your gift card number. It is only a record of your order."

As I understand it, you have to wait for the card to arrive so you can give out that number to the people you want to access the registry.

EDIT: I just looked on the website to confirm:

"Received your gift card?
Please enter your Disney Gift Card number. Your registry is not available to family and friends until you enter the card number to activate your registry.
Note: It is important that you enter the card number correctly, and that you write down your card number and keep it for your records should your card become lost or stolen."

Alright, I looked back through my disney paperwork, and the hotel reservation number they sent me in the mail is different than the one that is on my room block list my EM sent a couple weeks ago. So now I'm registered, just have to wait on my card.

One more question - anyone else have trouble adding your hotel room to the registry? When I click accomodations I dont' get any choices like I do with all the other options. I tried to send a request for help, but that didn't work either. I might just have to call.

I only had one resort option but it was the one I'm staying at, so I just assumed they took out all the other options for ease of use. The one that comes up isn't the one you're staying at?

I wasn't able to get any resorts to show up under the accomodation category. I wonder why. If anyone finds out please let me know as well.

no hotels at all - we're staying at the Grand Floridian and the reservation shows that correctly with the right dates and all. I guess I'll call tomorrow and see if it can be fixed. I suppose I have 7-10 business days to get it right until my card comes.

I can't believe my wedding is only 70 days from today! Guess I need to get cracking on the rest of my list that's been lingering for months while I worked a part time job and got through the holidays!

Is the card just a gift card, or is it actually that involved? Like if I had registered for Boma and someone purchased it for me, and I went to another restaurant, would the funds be available? What I am asking is, does all the money get addd towards this card for anywhere use, or does it have to be used for what someone gave us on it?

This is only my hunch, but I think it will just end up being a gift card with the $ total. I can't see how you'd be able to use it any other way. What happens if someone gives you credits toward a meal at Coral Reef and then you call to make reservations and they're all booked up?

Has anyone received their card yet? I'm getting "reminder" emails every day from Disney telling me I have to complete my registration, but in order to do that I need the number on the card. You'd think Disney would wait a couple weeks to start sending out those reminders.

Nope, no card yet, but it wasn't until Wednesday that I got the registry set up. Our reservations were made through DVC and there is no phone number on the DVC reservations by default, so the lady that was working the phones for the Registry had to call them to get them to add my phone number before we could create the registry.

I also was having issues adding anything to it until Friday night, because the pages kept not working until I noticed it was because the accomodations page was the default so I manually edited the http:/ address to change the last word in it from Accomodations to Tickets, then I was able to get it to work properly.
