Hi all,

I'm just looking for some inspiration on what to wear for our Honeymoon shoot for both of us really.

Please post your piccies and tell me where your outfits came from, or just give us some ideas!!

I'm thinking quite casual so we can head out to the parks for the day without returning to the hotel to change, but still smart looking obviously.

Our shoot is at the Polynesian resort, if that helps at all :thumbsup2

Macys has some amazing sales if you want to check there on dresses!

Hey Meryl.... here was what I wore, we did the POLY shoot but we did it through Photopass, not Disney photo. I wore something beachy, top was from American Eagle and a pair of shorts. I did not realize Tim had a hat on until we were in the middle of the shoot LOL. Oh well it's him and everybody loved the hat cause it's Tim.

This was what I wore for the MK honeymoon shoot...I don't have pics of that, just the printed ones they give you..wish I could have gotten a CD. I loved all our MK photos. The dress is from Hollister.

Your wedding is in October correct? So it's probably going to be quite warm still in Florida. How about a cute pair of bermuda/walking shorts and a nice top? Kinda like this:

And then maybe a pair of strappy flat sandals like this:

I think that would be cute, casual and comfy enough you could go into the parks and not have to change clothes.

Great ideas girlies, thank you, I like the "beachy" kind of look, especially as we're at the Poly, just need to find something in a UK shop now!!

Has anyone seen / bought anything in a UK based shop for their honeymoon shoot?

I might be better waiting until the summer season perhaps to find something more appropriate than a winter coat!!

I haven't picked where i'm going to have my shoot never mind what to wear!

i really like when couples coordinate with each other (not matching exactly, though) in engagement or honeymoon photos. like if you each wear denim on the bottom that is the same shade with a white top - you in bermudas and a white blouse or knit top and him in a white short sleeve button down with white shorts. or maybe if he wore khakis with a nice shirt and you wore a casual sundress - that might be nice and beachy for the poly.

how did that work using photopass?

I actually went against everyone's advice about matching solid colors. The only regret I have is that I was a little harder of DF to shop for an outfit that fir him, instead of wearing a shirt he had that way WAY too big!

I had a certain beachy casual look I was going for.

My dress was from J Crew. It was abit big on me, but the bottom flowed nice.

We both wore black Lacoste polos, dark jeans, and black shoes.

mermaidbride1108: that blue jcrew dress is so pretty! i want it! :hyper:

Thank you! I seriously bought like 5 different dresses to way and none of them fit and flowed the way I wanted them to! I ended up getting this on sale at J Crew for $60.

Awww I really like the matching idea!

And mermaidbride that dress is really cute, something similar to that might be the way for me to go. I also really like the bare feet in the sand too.....

We're not into matchy poo outfits but I wanted something that looked classic and something that didn't scream 2008.
I picked a black wrap dress and a striped polo and khakis for DF
