Day 1: Lets Get It On Board
The first part of our honeymoon was 4 nights at Pop Century and we had a fantastic time and got quite a few honeymoon perks and tons of congratulations. We used Florida Tours for our transportation to and from Airport -> Pop -> Cruise -> Airport. They were great so far, got us to port on schedule.
We made it!
We have been on only one cruise prior to this one and it was with Carnival and everything was arranged and taken care of by someone else so we were slightly clueless when we arrived in the terminal. I get overly stressed when I feel rushed and don't know what to do! Thankfully one of our wonderful DIS friends and table mate Jane (MJ5MOUSE) saw us and came to our rescue. She was wonderful and told us what we needed to do.
After we got all that taken care of we met yet another DIS friend Lindy Loo and her adorable daughter Elouise. They were soo nice they saved us a place in line for Mickey. Seriously I'm so grateful to have made these friends before we cruised as they made things go more smoothly and helped out so much. We would not have waited in the Mickey line so because of them we got this great photo with Mickey that I adore. And we got to see Elouise interact with Mickey too, so cute!

After that we sat and waited to join the line to board the ship and got some of our items organized.
Boarding the ship was very exciting especially announcing us with our new married last name. Right away we knew we would enjoy this ship much more than the Carnival ship we had cruised on previously. So much cleaner and more up to date..just a hundred times better.
We went and had some food...I wasn't that impressed with the selection but I'm a picky eater.

We wandered out on deck and another honeymooning couple offered to take a photo for us if we did the same for them. Then Jake got back into figuring out the ship. Seriously everywhere else he is beyond awful with directions but for some reason he had this ship figured out day 1 and was always correcting me. It was some kind of navigational miracle.

We then went to check out our stateroom. It was all ready for us including the stateroom gift I had ordered. Champagne and sweets.
Had to check out our verandah. We had a lovely view of dumpsters and luggage carts! With just the 2 of us it's hard to get a full picture of both of us so we have to get creative sometimes - reflections work wonders.
