Does anyone know any secrets to getting a lot of perks on your honeymoon at Disney. We're going in August and staying at the Contemporary resort in a Garden View room. I have no problem with staying in one of the wings at the contemporary, but I'd love to have a room with a castle view. Does anyone know of any other ways to get perks for being on your honeymoon?

We're going in July and staying in a Contemporary garden wing room too! I'll let ya know :)

Definitely get the wedding buttons to wear in the parks. That way everyone will know that you're there on your honeymoon and maybe they'll throw a little extra magic your way ;)

buy the ears and get the buttons. there are about a million threads like this one on this board, so try the search feature at the top of the page and it should help! also I see this is your first post, so :welcome: the ladies on this board are so helpful and nice!

BUT, remember, try not to go into your honeymoon expecting anything, or you will be disapointed. some people get loads and loads of perks, and some get none, and some get a couple little ones, like I did, but I hope you get some pixie Dust!:wizard:

Where do you get the buttons. I have seen the ears everywhere, and have seen people wearing the buttons, but don't where they "come from."

we got ours form the GF at the luggage/valet place haha. but I know you can get them t guest relations at the parks

no they're free. just go into guest services at any of the parks when you get there and ask.
we got a few perks on our honeymoon, but cant stress enough the importance of not going there expecting anything, as heather said some of us got a lot of perks, some got none. the best advice i can give is if you have your heart set on doing something (and therefore hoping to get it as a perk) book it yourself, then you wont be disappointed. if you want the MK view, book it, its your honeymoon, you can treat yourself. as a general rule disney dont make a habit of upgrading people on their honeymoon.

Do the buttons cost anything?

The buttons don't cost anything. My fiance proposed at Epcot and that night we went to MK and grabbed some buttons at the Town Hall (guest relations). It was nice to hear people yell out Congratulations! And have characters in the parade bow to me and things like that.

We're going for our Honeymoon at Disney this fall and we're not expecting anything but to have a great time.

My DF and I are celebrating our honeymoon at Disney. We will be there August 7th-12th, followed by a disney cruise. We are looking for other couples who are going to be celebrating their honeymoons as well. It's always fun to meet some new friends.
