Honeymoon in May

Me and my husband are preparing for our honeymoon the first week in may, but I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the crowds and weather are like that time of year? and I have allergy issues (not overly so...) and if anyone could tell me if all the spring time displays upset their allergies a lot. It's really just your average allergies - which usually attack every time the weather changes but that's it. Anyway I saw the crowd predictor thing

and it said it would be pretty crowded but my in laws said it wasn't very crowded so..... does anyone have any trip reports for may? (I know i'm rambling lol)

Congrats on your upcoming honeymoon! DH and I got married and honeymooned down in Disney just about 2 years ago (whoa! where does the time go!) We were there from April 29-May 10 and it was beautiful weather and DH has allergies and asthma and he wasn't bothered at all while we were down there. The crowds were not bad at all, very tolerable. Our trip will be a little later this year, the 12th through the 19th, so I will be curious to see how it is this year, but it's Disney, it will be fun, crowds or not. Just remember to take breaks, don't try to cram it all in, it will be too exhausting! Some of our most fun times were hanging out by the pool, swimming and relaxing.

Congradulations!!! Have a great honeymoon. Never been in WDW during May. But you can always research the weather on-line.

Crowds will be quite manageable most of May despite what the crowd calendars say. You did not specify which part of May you are going, but it will start getting crowded on Friday the 22nd for Memorial Day weekend as the busy summer season starts to ramp up.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! We honeymooned at Disney 10 years ago - loved it!!!

We've been both at the beginning and end of May. My asthma was horrible at the end of May, but I had no troubles with allergies or asthma at the beginning of May. Enjoy the wonderfully warm weather and HAPPY DISNEYMOON!!!!

Congratulations! My wonderful bride and I spent our first week as husband and wife at Disney World in early May, 1989. We were just looking at our pictures and scrapbook from that trip.

Now, 20 years later, we are looking forward to our return trip coming up in June, this time with our 3 kids, DS 16, DS 13, and DD 6.
