I thought I'd venture over and see what sort of information I can gather for our honeymoon. We are getting married at WDW in December and heading to Paris for our honeymoon. We will be there 12/19-12/28. We are looking to visit DLP 12/24-12/26.

Right now I have our hotel and airfare quoted at $2639 including taxes, etc. I'm not sure if that is a good price from the States. We are looking to stay at the Elysees Union on Rue Hamelin while in the city. Has anyone stayed there or know anything about it?

Any suggestions on where to stay at DLP? Do you have to book a package (room + tickets) to stay at a Disney resort? We have our park tickets already.

Thanks for any help you can provide! :)

Hi there :goodvibes
am sorry i cant give you any of the informations required just want to tell you how much envious i am you will get married at WDW. Wish it could be possible in Paris, would be a great location for my second time round ;)
Oh i was fogetting : CONGRATULATIONS pixiedust:

Ah, a fellow American who spent part of their honeymoon at DLP. I used miles to fly from Boston when I went for my honeymoon. The problem is you're traveling at one of the busiest/most expensive times of the year so I really can't tell you if that airfare seems reasonable. Obviously you don't have flexibility in your schedule but if you did that airfare would seem like a ripoff. I haven't been back to DLP but I get tempted every time I see an airfare around $400 which is usually once every couple of months.

Thank you all for the congratulations! We are very excited about our wedding and feel very fortunate to be able to have it at WDW.

We are leaving out of Orlando 12/19 heading to Paris, returning 12/28. Our package is $2100. This inclues our airfare and 8 nights accomodations for both of us. The airfare seperate is $1700 for both of us. Still too much?
