I will be on my honeymoon in mid sept. later this year and we are on a tight budget. We will be in WDW for four days then we leave for a 4 night cruise with DCL. We only want to have one big dinner, our last night at the parks actually, so what are your suggestions? We have been to the park before but it was with family so we never had a really romantic moment. We have hear that the California grill has a spectular view of the fireworks, but heard it can be loud. We have no objections to any types of food as we will try anything once.

I will be hush hush.I think Calfornia Grill would be great.Ithink it is a great dining venue for a romantic dinner.Have had at least 3 romantic dinners with my DW an all was right and quiet.:wave2:

congratulations. On our honeymoon we really loved California Grill. The other place that we had over our honeymoon that was really great was Artist Point.

I've eaten at all the palces mentioned by the others multiple times. Theya re all wonderful. But for the most romantic place (other than V&A's) I would choose Citrico's. It's quiet and generally has less kids.

I second Citrico's. The atmosphere was lovely, and the food was great. Dh and I celebrated our anniversary there a couple of years ago and really enjoyed ourselves.

Congratulations on marriage!

:whispering: Congratulations!!!

On our WDW Honeymoon hubby splurged on Arist Pointe and Jiko with Jiko being my favorite.

For my birthday he took me BACK to WDW and had my birthday dinner at the California Grill and then another meal at Jiko (with the Sunset Safari)

Out of all of them, I enjoyed Jiko the most. (But I'm very very partial to the AKL! DH totally spoiled me)

Congrats!!!

I think V&A is a very romantic place and Artist Pointe is really nice also.

Have a great time and congrats again!!!! :lovestruc

PS When you're on the cruise, you've gotta try Palo. It's beautiful and the food is pretty yummy! ENJOY!!!

I cannot stress it enough.

DH and I went to California Grill on our honeymoon and thought it was excellent. We were there during the MK fireworks. Great food and a great view of Cinderella's Castle which made it very romantic! The service was excellent too. I was really cold and the waiter brought me an extra table cloth to cover up with. There were not too many kids there. In fact, I actually remember thinking that it was nice to finally be in a restaurant where there were more adults. Since you are on a tight budget, it is one of the more expensive places, but not as high as V&A. I highly recommend it!

Thank you all so much. I know that DH-2-be would love to go to CG as he was looking over my shoulder reading and liked the idea of seeing the fireworks while sitting comfortably. Our budget is tight but we have made sure that we have enough for what we call the "reception" for two.:bride: :groom:
