Is it worth the cost? Any coupons?Any other brand hams that I should try instead? TY

You can get a $9 off coupon (I think it comes up as a $7 and you have to register to get an upgrade). The coupon is good on a 8lb or more. There are also coupons regularly this time of year in the coupon fliers in the paper.

Totally worth it in my book. They are expensive but they are cooked and oh so yummy! It's what we had for Christmas dinner and are still eating the leftovers :)

My DM buys 2 8lb hams for christmas dinner. One we eat with dinner and one we split for leftovers. So to us it is SOOOOO worth it and just about the only time we get one. We enjoy the flavor so much!

we had one this year and i didnt think it was worth the money at all...my MIL has made some that she had gotten an aldi that were better IMO...i was really bummed cause DH and I bought a package for my MIL for Christmas dinner and it wasn't as good as i remembered them

IMO ... totally worth the extra money! I love Honeybaked Hams! Nothing like them. I'd try and then decided. We get one every year.

and for what it's worth....we bought their turkey this year at Honey Baked and it was delish!

We had our first ever for Christmas. It was ham. Nothing spectacular. I'm glad we finally tried it but I wouldn't spend that much for a ham again.

In MHO while they are expensive, they are delicious. You use most of the meat and the bone is good for soup.

We bought one last year for Christmas dinner and it was ok. I mean if was good but not worth the extra money IMO. Instead DH makes a pretty mean brown sugar and maple syrup glaze that IMO tastes just as good if not better. But I'm glad that we tried it.

I have heard two different people say Aldi had great ham. We've gotten Honeybaked quite a few times, only with a coupon. IMO it's a little too sweet.

We had a Honeybaked Ham this Christmas, my DH had them for the holidays growing up, but this was my first one. I thought the Honeybaked ham was very good, however I do agree with others in that the taste is comparable to store bought hams. But nonetheless you are paying for convenience, and that's why it's expensive. Personally, we love the ham and will continue buy Honeybaked hams for future holidays.

At least try it once to see if you like it!

IMHO they are so worth it. The ham is less salty.

We got one on the 23rd. We had it that day for dinner and served it to a friend who stopped by. She loved it too. I cut off all the meat and froze it today.

We only get one a few times a year.

We had the $9 coupon.

Aldi honey ham is excellent. I should know almost ate the whole ham by myself. LOL My ham only cost 12 bucks. I cooking ham bean soup tomorrow.

I also love Honeybaked ham.

I dont think we have Aldis here, so guess I am stuck with honeybaked ham! lol

Thanks all! SO what size ham do you buy & for how many people? Please share your leftover ham recipes!!!!!!

We love Honeybaked ham but they are pricey. I have been getting spiral sliced hams at Sams Club that is excellent. I don't care for the glaze packet so we skip it and just enjoy the meat. We can eat about 3 good meals off it and still freeze the bone and bits for soup. Trader Joes has an excellent 17bean soup mix that is cheap and much better than Honeybaked's.
