Honey Honey! We’re heading to the ABBA Museum! Northern Europe on the Magic June 13, 2015!

Today its the day!!! I am so happy for you. Cant wait to see your complete trip report. Safe trip and enjoy your vacation.

TODA IS JUNE 10TH! Today we started our day by waking up at 3:15. We got dressed and out the store by 4am.i dropped off Eilee and Diane at the airport, went to park my car at work and walked over to the airport (we flew out of the small airport only about 3 or 4 blocks from my office). We flew to Milwaukee, then on to La guardia. What we hadn't planned for... was the fact that after we took the shuttle to JFK, we had no idea that Norwegian Air doesn't have flights until late at night. Which means that their employees didn't arrive until 7 pm to check us in and we couldn't get through security until then. So we were stuck in the check in area 6 hours! It was boring and my daughter was having a fit because there was nowhere to charge her phone. Luckily I thought to bring my portable charger so that calmed her down fora while.

Now we're inside security and have about two hours until we board. I plan to wait until they feed us on the plane and then SLEEP! Then we will wake up in Copenhagen. Hopefully I'll tomorrow with pictures! Good night!

TODAY IS JUNE 11th! Two days until we board the cruise and 7 days until the ABBA Museum!

Our flight on Norwegian was great! We arrived in Copenhagen around 12:30 pm and it couldn't have gone more smoothly. Customs was an absolute breeze! No lines, the man just looked at our passports, stamped them and we were done. We bought train tickets at the window to central stain which was also quick and easy, went to the platform and we got on a wide open, clean train. It really set the tone for the day.

We got off of the train and made our way to the hotel about three blocks away. It's a budget hotel so we knew it would be small... But it's super small! We're not choosy though and we don't mind. We freshened up and decided to take a walk. My daughter wasn't feeling very well so she decided to stay behind. I just think she was tired. Diane and I headed toward the Stroget which is a long pedestrian shopping street. There is a little is something for everyone!

There are lots of interesting things on the Stroget!

I love that most of the restaurants with outdoor seating place a fleece blanket at every seat!

We walked to the end and then decided to keep walking to Nyhavn where they have the different color buildings. We loved this area!

We noticed these little food stands everywhere and they all seemed to have sausages. Eventually we were so hungry that the sausages were sounding better and better. I got a bacon wrapped sausage and my sister got one that that was in a little bread pocket. They were great and pretty cheap! I brought some back to the room for Eilee too. We also stopped by a bakery and got these! They were amazing and I want more tomorrow!

we're just going to lie around for the rest of the night and go to Tivoli tomorrow! Thanks for following!

Thanks for sharing, do you know if there's a Disney store and did you paid in dollars or cc, did you change to Danish krone?
there is a Disney Store on the Stroget! So of course wet had to go in. There were a few Copenhagen themed items like shirts, pens, a small , mugs, and a large Mickey Viking Vinylmation (too big to fit in a suitcase). I also saw many stuffed animals that we don't have at our local Disney Store. We exchanged Danish Krone before we left the US so we've been using that.

Glad you made it. Those desserts look amazing.
They were fantastic. So far I'm very happy with our food options/choices seeing as we're on a budget!

Great photos. How is the weather? Is it what you expected temperature wise?

The weather in Copenhagen wad just perfect! Sunny, not too hot (I think about 70 degrees). Eilee had on shorts and a long sleeve shirt, I had on shorts and capris. We saw some people arrive yesterday who were obviously from a warmer climate as they had on pants and parkas!

TODAY JUNE 13!! 5 days until the ABBA museum! We are awake and getting ready to make our way to the port!

Yesterday was wonderful. However we realized our power converter died so we couldn't plug our phones in! So I shut mine off right away to conserve the battery. So it's going to be a short post today.

We woke up and went out in search of breakfast and we ended up at Dunkin Donuts. Lol! We also went to information to get the best route to the port the next day. We well take the train to Osterport then bus 27 to the port. We then went to Tivoli Gardens and we loved it. It's lush and green and relaxing! Here area few pics.

I think we left around three and then took the train to see the little mermaid statue. We took a walk around the area and it was very pretty but we could tell it was a lot cooler by the water so I'll make sure to wear a light jacket tomorrow when we make out way to the pier.

We then took another walk down the Stroget because my daughter didn't see it the night before when she wasn't feeling well. Then it was back to the room to rest up for today! Our room is close to Tivoli so we could hear a concert until about midnight! We are going to pack and get ready now! Cross your fingers that we get service along the way!

FIRST SEA DAY! I'm actually in Russia right now but trying to catch up!

We were going to take public transportation to the port and it would have been fine but we lugged our bags to to central station (only about 3 blocks) but once we got there we chickened out and took a taxi! It probably took about 15 minutes. We got there very early because we took the taxi instead, it was about 10 am. We got in line to get into the terminal which opened at 10:30 am. Once we were in we checked in quickly and then we sat down only to realize that we weren't given a boarding number. So we asked and were given boarding number 12. There were characters there but I couldn't talk my daughter into getting pictures with them. They began boarding about 11:45 and I think group 12 was called by about 12:20.

Our first stop was to get Palo reservations. Palo is the adults only fancy restaurant! We got them for 10 am on the first sea day. Then we went to get tickets for the princess meet and greet, the Frozen one and the Marvel one. We then ate at the buffet, got into our room, watched the sail away party. At dinner we met our fabulous table mates. A military family stationed in Germany. A mom, dad, 14 year old daughter and I think the son is about 10. We hit it off instantly. We've seen the show before so we went to the Irish pub type bar on the ship and listened to an Irish band and had some drinks.

For our first sea day, we woke up early to get ready for Palo but first we went to our Princess meet and greet at 9 am. Eilee did not make it for that so Diane and I met Rapunzel, Cinderella and Belle.

Then we went straight to the Frozen meet and greet where Eilee finally joined us!

We had a fabulous brunch at Palo! Then we were so full that we took a nap. We woke up just in time for our Mixology class! Diane and I are on a Facebook group for people just on this cruise and someone set this up for us. It was so much fun! I think we had about 5 or 6 drinks and we were given the recipes!

After we were properly buzzed up it was time to meet the Marvel superheroes! My daughter was supposed to meet us there but never showed so we looked like a couple of old creepers there to meet the young hot men. OK, so we kind of were.

After dinner in Animators Palate, we decided to see the movie McFarland USA which was fantastic! After the movie we went to bed because we had an early excursion the next day in Tallinn Estonia.

JUNE 15th TALLINN ESTONIA.

We woke up in time to eat an a la carte breakfast in Lumiere's. I had a pastry and some muesli. I'm in love with the muesli on Disney cruises and I couldn't wait for this! Yum! We the went to check in for our excursion called Tallinn Highlights. Then check in line was ENORMOUS! It was winding down and around several hallways. We were directed to the theater until group 41 was called. We were led to the bus and it was incredibly cold and windy. We did not dress properly for this! Our tour guide was Gregor from Estonia. Here he is giving us a tour of the song festival grounds.

We drove through many parts of Tallinn and it was very interesting and Gregor knew his stuff. We went to the Olympic regatta site (again, very cold and windy).

Then we stopped for a coffee break at a local restaurant. We had coffee and tea, a lovely cake and some some sort of bread with fish on it. I don't eat fish so I just had the cake and some tea.

We went into old town Tallinn and we saw some beautiful churches and learned a lot about the history of Estonia from Gregor. Because I admit that we knew very little before this. It's a beautiful city.we got to do some shopping as well.and we saw some strange Michael Jackson nesting dolls.

We went back to the ship, went to dinner and then I was just too tired to do much so I had a relaxing night in the cabin and watched Lilo and Stitch and read a book. Today we are going in Russia!! We docked around 7:30 I think (I was sleeping!). Our pelmeni (meat dumplings) making/vodka tasting excursion doesn't start until 1:45 and we basically have the ship to ourselves! After we our excursion we come to the ship and turn right back around for another private excursion set up by another person on our Facebook group. We'll go shopping and take a boat tour!
