Hi everybody, I'm pretty new to making guest rooms.(the sad thing is that i've been playing for almost a year) and I would like all the experts out there to give there honest thoughts on my room. I'm playing on linking it to a prison room and making that the ship part. But I really want all your advice, and anything that you would do better. Thanks

do YOU like it?

Thats all that matters

and for future reference, hold the "ALT" button down when clicking print screen and you will only take a screenshot of the active window

Personally, I'd go with just one theme.

Lion

*coming out of hiding for this post*

Let me elaborate: do away with the Trophy Poster in the corner, the Wreath, the Cauldron, the Briarstone, the Wanted Poster, and the Narnia Light.

Trust me, it'll look just great without them.

Tip #1: Don't just place random items in a room. Less items may just be better than more in some situations.

I really love everything else. The colors just work (and I like the Chocolate Machines! :thumbsup2 ).

I think there are some helpful posts above, but you are doing a *great* job so far!

Well I won't be so bold to call myself an expert, but I have built a few rooms. I have 2 questions and then a comment.

The question is what is the room supposed to be and what would you like it used for? It looks somewhat like a fort, but there are too many elements that would not be in a fort. As far as uses, it does not have nearly enough seating for a meeting/chat room and the few seats you do have are spread out too much. It could be used for a (closing) dance room, but that would limit it's usefullness a lot.

My comment is that the room you chose to build in does make a good fort and that is what I have seen it used for most succesfully. If it was me I would make it a meeting/chat room by adding more seating and cluster the seats into groups.

What had in mind is to make it look like tortua port or something. I tried to make it look like there's ships in the background. I would use this as just a hangout room. Thanks again for the comments.

i personally kinda agree with emery on this, my trade is like that, only has like 6 items in it...

id do away with the briarstone and candy cane.

Personally, i don't like it but if you would to remove a few things and maybe add some things that go with your theme that would be good and oh yea! Try sticking with one theme.
