Homewood Suites?

Which one? I love Homewood Suites.

In general, they are my favorite group. I stayed in one in Albany NY last weekend. I usually look for these first, then Residence Inns second when staying in hotels.

They do vary quite dramatically on the food offerings. The last time I stayed at the one on International Drive (several years ago), I found them much less generous than most of the others I have stayed at.

I have stayed in the one on the 192 ehich I think is no longer a homewood suites but perhaps someone else could rectify that. I stayed at the one East of Disney entrance before Old Town, its was at the top of the road where Charleys and the Kobi restaurants are. It backed onto I4.

Anyway I have to say I had no problems, it was clean, well presented, the staff were friendly and helpful and the Breakfasts were fine.

I would stay in one again if needed.

Yes, that one is no longer a HS.
I have stayed at both Palm Parkway and I-Drive. Both were great!
But, the OP never came back and told us which one.

I'm not sure which one. Looking for a suites hotel.

Okay, so you are just looking for a good all suites hotel close to Disney?
There are a lot on Palm Parkway. Embassy Suites (my fav), Homewood, Residence Inn and more.

I haven't stayed at Homewood Suites in Orlando, but have in Birmingham, where I live. I've stayed there and Embassy Suites, which are both owned by Hilton. The things that I like about Embassy Suites is there there is a LOT more room, it's just generally nice, and the beds are a lot better.

Homewood Suites aren't nearly as big, the beds are ok, but it does have a full kitchen which is nice, and has DVD players, which is a nice thing to have for my 3 year old. We'll stay at HS in the future because it's better with a child.

In my opinion, you can't go wrong with any of the all-suite properties available these days. Their proliferation has made me swear off "traditional" hotel rooms forever. Just look at Hawthorn Suites, Homewood Suites, Embassy Suites, etc and choose the one with the best combination of location and price. You really can't lose.

Look up palimino suites...I have stayed there they are nice and the price is good to...Good luck

Palomino Suites is now Quality Suites Lake Buena Vista. I'm trying it out the weekend of the 26th and will be writing a review here. A 1 bedroom suite for $71.00 per night is pretty hard to beat, so long as it's clean.
