Dave - thanks for this great idea. I like what you did and it got me looking. There are such talented Disers on the creative community board! The images are in photobucket accounts which you can save and then purchase (I print through Snapfish). I've finally decided to create a photo album with all of the photobucket pages on the right side of a 4x6 album and leave the left side blank for a pic of my daughter with the character. I will have the characters sign the pages with their names/photos on it.
While searching, I found a great site that tells you how common the characters are in the park so I know which characters to buy pages for. http://home.att.net/~disneysue/characters/wdw/disneyrare.html
I have a question regarding the clip art. Most of the times I cut and paste the images, I end up getting a black background. Am I doing something wrong? How do I fix this?
Thanks!
I used Microsoft Powerpoint to make the autograph books, and I had a template all set up for the size, text, etc. I would "insert" a picture into the Powerpoint slide instead of cutting and pasting. That worked for me.
awesome job, I was thinking of making something similar for my neices and nephews, each page dedicated to a character with a place for them to sign and a spot to put a picture of them with the characters.
I think you ought to create a blog of this subject. I was so impressed that I forwarded the link to this thread to my brother & sister in case they want to do something like this in the future.
