homecoming next weekend

we make a big deal out of the parade -- not only do we have the marching band from our high school, we also have the band from the other high school in our idstrict, the middle schools and even some of the elementary schools.

dd is a freshman, she's a j.v. cheerleader and so she'll be marching in the parade.


I've seen the senior class float -- it's being built at my neighbor's house. the junior class float is also being built on my street, and the freshman class float is being built around the corner.

but no one seems to know where the sophomores are building their float.

dd's first homecoming -- so exciting.

High school homecoming is exciting, isn't it?? I think more so for the parents!

I love looking back at all of the photos I've taken through the years of my kids.

My DD is a freshman and at her Homecoming right now....well, actually it's ending now, but then off to a party for an hour or so. I can't wait to get the pictures back. You DD will have a blast I'm sure.
