Has anyone ever booked on this site before? The owner has great reviews but no real booking form, terms and conditions etc??

I use homeaway or vrbo all the time. There's no booking form on the homeaway site other than the inquiry that you send to ask for a quote. Once the owner makes contact with you then you can ask to read their rental agreement etc. There's only been a couple of times that the owner didn't have a rental agreement but that was years ago. I think now days the owners all have terms and conditions for their protection and yours.

We've used Homeaway for our 4th of July vacations in Maine and on Cape Cod, never had an issue. Contact the owner via the website and they typically will supply you with the Ts&Cs via email as well as the contract if you decide to rent from them. That's always been our experience.

Thanks I feel much better now! I have inquired else where and people are emailing me these 4 page booking forms, and here on homeaway there's just a "pay now" button lol
