Day 2 & 3 updates...

So last minute I decided to see if we could snag a couple extra ADRs and I did! I used the online system for the first time and booked Tony's Town Square for a late lunch on Friday at MK... WAIT! It just sunk in as I typed this that Friday is THIS FRIDAY!!! ...and also booked THIS SATURDAY dinner (or should I say supper Rosie? ) at Epcot in the good ol' United Kingdom's Rose &Crown. I'm super excited to try these places for the first time and I think Team DC will enjoy them

I also was entering in my existing ADRs in online to confirm them and I had a mini heart attack ....well let me explain that in day 4.

DAY FOUR - HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS

On a side note, one day I plan on getting a Sorcerer Mickey tattoo...

So day four will be our Studios day. I really have no game plan here. I know for sure I will be riding TOT and RRC bc Cathleen has already declared chicken. Which in fine with me but I wish there was a version of ToT with no drop because it has my favorite queue of all attractions that I wish all could enjoy.

One of the highlights for the day will be the Extreme Stunt Show with Lightning McQueen and one of our ladies "boyfriend" Matter! She loves Matter and I know she will go wild seeing him and and Lightning in the show.

Now about the mishap with the ADR, when I entered ours for today at the SciFi it said ADR no longer in the system! So called and the CM looked up the confirmation # and it showed that that number was for a Princess Storybook dinner on June 20th so that was apparently the wrong number and the CM found our ressie. Our TA Mary must have written it down wrong bc the # was only one digit off. So needless to say dinner will be at the Sci Fi Dinner Theater. I think this is the meal I'm looking forward to the most so I'm glad it worked out.

I'm hoping we have one or two Star Wars fans that will appreciate the update to Star Tours which I'm super excited about!

Of course we will wrap up our day at DHS with fantasmic

I'm thinking we may take the boat over from DHS to the boardwalk and Beach Club and go get the group a Kitchen Sink at Beaches & Cream!

Okay Dan you are super planning again!!!!Showing me up !!!I am toying with the idea of breakfast at Olivias on departure day !! Want to see how the money holds out !!I have been eyeing that due to Karin who keeps posting these pix of the awesome breakfasts !! I also checked thru the online system and their is availability . Have to talk to Carol and maybe we will follow Dan's lead and book an extra ADR!!!I was thinking of a latish one as we do not have to catch ME till about 2:30p. Note to both of us !!When we catch ME to POP ask for a little earl;ier p/u as last time they really cut us short with a later time and an even later ME

Dan, I'm not trying to be a troublemaker here since that is something I make sure I never am here, even though many unnamed females on here have made up lies about me and say that I am. Anyway, I was looking at your posts I listed below and there seems to be some problems that I wanted you to look at and make sure your plans are in order. Maybe you just posted incorrectly and there isn't an issue. I think what you are doing for some very special people is a wonderful thing, and I just wanted to make sure all your plans don't get messed up so they have a great time.

DAY TWO - FRIDAY OCTOBER 14th
Well I gotta get this planning under way. Our first full day in WDW we will be heading to Epcot. I'm hoping Team DC will be early risers and get moving to hit the gates by 9am opening time. I usually don't have much of an agenda as to what attractions I see in what order but feeling responsible as the self proclaimed expert-tour-guide I've decided I have to be prepared (and this is when I villainously bust out singing with Scar and hyenas)

As you see we will enter the part and first hit the "golf ball" as my Dad calls Spaceship Earth. Then visit Figment, begin to head clockwise to the Land (SOARIN'!!!!) the The Seas, Lunch ressies at Coral Reef to dine under the sea, then maybe hit innoventions whiles heading to the east side of the park then proceding upwards-- Universe of Energy, Mission Space, Test Track... then we shall enter World Showcase... I want to just spend an entire day wandering through WS sometimes... BUT not this trip... Boat rides in Mexico and Norway, some international snacks and not yet sure where to hit for dinner??? Thinking if it would be too late to Get ADRs for a group of 10? I really like the Tangeriene Cafe in Morroco for counter service but I don't know how the group may like the slightly exotic cusine. I'd love to try the Rose & Crown Pub sometime... wait? Rose... Rosie... and crown... like English royality... EnglishRose!!!
After dinner prob hit whatever spots we may have missed or want to do again and then stake out a spot for Illuminations!

Tomorrow we have breakfast with an alien, a rodent, a little girl, and a dog...

Friday all day at Epcot and lunch at Coral Reef.

On Saturday we will head back to the MK but first breakfast at...

and then after our morning meal hop on the monorail to...

Walking up Main Street is my ultimate Disney experience. When I think WDW that is what I think of, that picturesque walk towards the castle taking in the sights and sounds. The when you get to the hub there is the great debate! Which way??? I think today Tomorrow land, them make our way around... But the where do we get lunch/dinner? Planning on being pretty full from our hearty all-you-care-to-eat breakfast we will prob grab a mid to late day snack and then get and early dinner... CS or try to get ADRs? I would try for Tonys but if not one of the CS places... that decision will come later. I'm also wondering if a mid day break back to the hotel for a rest or swim would be nice, will prob judge how the troops are holding up and the heat that day.

This will conclude Day 3, stay tooned for day four MGM... uh? wait DHS... I'll never get that right...

Saturday possibly all day at MK and wishing for Tony's for a possible dinner.

Just the opposite with Friday at MK and lunch at Tony's when above you have a lunch at Epcot at Coral Reef. Then Saturday at Epcot for dinner at Rose and Crown when above it was MK on Saturday and hoping for a possible trip to Tony's......

Hope that makes sense and you see why I am a little confused.

I just talked to Carol and she said YES to Olivia's sooooo I just made an adr for 10:15 am for breakfst on departure day !! I am really psyched about this as Karin speaks sooooo highly of it !!I am thinking of those Eggs benedict right now and my mouthis watering !!!

I just finished all my pre trip paperwork !! I have to record all the info on sheets in a book. Such as medical diagnosis , allergies , meds etc etc !! I think I am all packed but tomorrow night I will check again !!

Carol is getting dropped off at my house at 3:45 am on Thursday and a not so Happy Judy is taking us to the airport for 4:30 a.m and is planning to go in too work as it is close to there !!

I just wanted to share a FUNNY from one of our individuals , she was MAD about cleaning her room and so was spouting off !! She informed my senior staff that she had 2 children , even provided names and said they were being raised by Indians !!!:rotfl2 She also went on to spout about how smart she was and was NOT retarded Okay if you say so !!We all had a good chuckle about her children and her Smartness !!! Lordie I love this field it is sooo much FUN!!!!

Glad it was a typo. Sometimes you think you have it all down and then you run into that situation where you transpose days or times and it all breaks loose.

Dan, so glad it was only a typo and you aren't having to scramble to make some last second changes to your schedule! I agree with Rosie that so much comes at you guys it would be easy to have mixed things up, but I prefer to think it would just be Rosie rubbing off on you!! (oops, can I say someone is rubbing off on you that is known for her pole and lap dancing skills???)

MUCH needed!!! I'm off work starting today so my first stress relief is NO ON CALL PHONE!!!!
Today my biggest task is finishing a paper for my socal work class. At the school library as we speak... the thought was if I go to the library I would have less distraction than at home... the only problem is I have access to the internet and the DIS...

I guess that today would tecnically be the first day of this trip because Catleen and I will be staying up by the airport tonight... there is a nice dinning and entertainment establishment up there called Tiffiny's maybe we could have a couple drinks before hitting the hay... not sure how down cathleen would be for that though? Lets just say it's the kind of place for photo opps for Pole Dancing Rosie We won't see you up there will we Sam? On our way back from Cedar Point we had to gas up the van before we returned it to Budget across the street from the airport and one of our vacationers told us there was a Mobil station next to the "Sleezy cabaret"

Marv you have NO idea the stress we both have been under this week !!!Although I think Dan definately won for staffing issues !! Today I had 2 case reviews , each of which take at least 1 1/2 hours and then another good hour correcting all the paperwork !! I have a 5 day deadline to get the first draft handed in which meant it had to be done todayThen I had to do all the allowances and make sure all accounts balanced so it was an 11 hour day for me But I left with a fairly clear desk Scedule looked okay and I hope everything is fine while I am gone !!

Haven't been on the DIS much lately, but wanted to wish you guys a MAGICAL trip! Safe travels and have fun with the Mouse!!!

We are back and all had a great trip !!! Weather was perfect, food was awesome and the guys all want to go on trips with Carol and Rosie agaun next year !!!! I am pretty sure Dan's group want to go with them too !! We had lots of truly magical moments , Dis meets and more so stay tuned for the JOINT TR which will be coming !!
