As our 11-month window is approching, we're starting to plan for next May. We'll probably book BWV at the 11-month, but can't decide if we should try BCV, or stick to BWV. We'd be in a two bedroom.

So, what do you all think?

Thanks! ;)

Hmmmm - do you have to wait until the 7 months then? So, what can you think about for 4 months.........

Whenever I stay at BCV, I miss being so close to the BW. And the walk home from Epcot just isn't the same.

And when I stay at BWV, I miss SAB and being so close to B&C.

But, I really like both because they are in the same area and I love the proximity to Epcot and MGM.

In summary, since you know you like the area - then go ahead and try BCV. You are close enough to the BW to stroll over and enjoy and you get to try SAB. The rooms are almost the same. Your only real question is the point difference in the SV at BWV or the guaranteed BW view if you get that. At BCV it's hit or miss on the Epcot view..............

I say give the beach a try! :sunny: Mix it up a little!

Also, at BCV you could get a dedicated 2 bedroom, maybe even the version with 2 queens.

...and the BW is only a short walk away if you get homesick!

The Flower and Garden time at Epcot, is the one time I'd rather be at BCV, so at 11 months I book the Boardwalk view at BWV and if I can switch over at 7 months I do, otherwise I'll have the "consolation" of the great view. This hasn't happened, we're at the BCV again this year.

I would try BCV! I love to try new resorts. There was a time when I would keep going back to the same resort (epcot area) but when we went with other people it forced me to try WL and AKL. I haven't regreted it once. You can't go wrong at Disney! :earsboy:

One time I split my stay between these 2 resorts, specifically so that I could decide which I like better, and add on points there. For me, BCV won easily, but that's just me-miss my beloved Cape Cod and my toes in the beach sand! The view from BWV was much better, even though I had a standard view. And I loved the closeness of Boardwalk Bakery, but that was before the Beach Club store expanded. My favorite park is Epcot, least favorite is MGM, so BCV was much more convenient. DS loves MGM and Epcot equally, so BWV is more convenient for him. At least when I was there, I waited longer for the elevators at BWV than at BCV, and when I got downstairs, I liked the peace and quiet when the elevator doors opened at BCV as opposed to the hub-bub(as it seemed to me) at BWV. And BCV has Beaches and Cream, a big plus for me! Maybe you can try both and decide which you like better.
