Home sick today

Anyone else? I have sinus headaches so bad and now it's making me dizzy. I am off to the doctors today hopefully.

I'm out sick today too. I called a sub for my class yesterday, amazingly they found one! I am feeling a little better today, but I figured it is better not to take chances with kids and stuff like this. I had a fever yesterday, today so far my temp is normal, but my throat and ears are aching. Hope my ears aren't infected, I had that once and it was awful!

Another teacher here today that called in sick. I ended up going to urgent care yesterday afternoon and was diagnosed with STREP. Dr. said I can't return to class until I have been on the antibiotics for 24 hours. I started them yesterday at about 1:00. I woke up a bit ago feeling a bit better, so I hope I am on the mend.

I'm still going to classes and stuff, but I've been sick for a week. And most of campus is sick, with something that I haven't gotten yet, but something I'm prone too. So I don't even want to think about what might be in store for me.

I thisclose to calling off. I have that awful cold again. I just got over it too!!! Luckily my cold meds are helping me make it through. Feel better everyone!!

My DD-7 had strep and started antibiotics Saturday, DH has a cold, DD-4 has sinus infection, started antibiotics Saturday. I have a horrible cold I guess. Bad drainage, fever, and all over yuck! But I drug my self into work. I am leaving early afternoon. I hope everyone else feels better soon.

Another teacher at home today! I coughed and hacked all weekend long and today I can barely speak. I slept maybe 3 hours last night and knew I wouldn't be doing myself any favors if I tried to teach 5 periods of 7th and 8th graders on little to no voice. Hopefully I'll be better tomorrow!

I'm feeling run down but I think I'm fighting it off still. I've been feeling under the weather for days . This always happens to me at the begining of the school year.

Nurse just called from the doctors office. I guess they think I have a sinus infection because the called in a prescription for antibiotics. It was kinda bizarre. I didn't even talk to the doctor or nurse, just left a message about how I was feeling. Oh well, they said call in 24 hours if I am not feeling better.

Yup, I woke up with a terrible headache and stomach upset. I got up to get the kids some milk and had to run to the bathroom with dry heaves. Called DH and he came home from work and ran DS to preschool, went to Costco, took DS to swim lessons, and made dinner. He told me, "Your job isn't so bad." Yeah, that's because the stuff I asked him to do was about 3/4 of the stuff I would normally do on a Monday. I did appreciate DH pinch hitting for me today, though.
