Home on the Range DVD

Any Ideas as to how a student of mine may have gotten the Home on the Range DVD early? We were at his house on Sat Sept 11. and his kids were watching it. It WAS NOT the Sing-a-long version. I did not realize until today that it was not out until today. Any clue how he may have gotten it. He does not work for Disney but has lots of money to burn.

He may have burned it illegally from the internet. Or maybe he paid someone in a store to sneak it to him earlier, but the stores may not have gotten them yet.

He could have ordered it from DisneyStore.com sometimes when I've preordered videos from them they've come up to two days before the "official" release date. Depends on the mail service.
