We wanted to bring Mickey Mouse/ Disney Coloring books on the plane for our 2 and 4 year old. We could not find one in the stores in time. We are leaving on Sunday and we needed some last minute activites to keep them busy on the plane.

So we printed out several pictures of the characters from the playhousedisney.com website. I stapled them all together and have packed their "new coloring books" in our carry-on.

I love those. I think I have only bought DS one coloring book. There are so many great free coloring pictures on line, and he tends to have a favorite that he wants to color OVER and OVER and OVER again anyways

I do the make your own books on occasion too. I just wish some of the sites would let you copy and paste the pics so I could make a mini book by putting 4 on one sheet. Saves on paper waste.

If anyone is looking for Disney coloring books, Dollar General has a bunch in right now. Yours may have them too since they tend to get all the same stuff at the same time.

There are also 2 sticky threads at the top of this forum with pags to print out. And I second dollare general; we just got Aladdin, Peter Pan, Donald and Goofy coloring books there yesterday.

There are also some great things on the mouse for less website under downloads. They have pages to color but also if you have kids that are 5-7 years old they have disney character pages to practice printing letters, numbers, etc. Also, for older kids they have cool worksheets for them to do after they visit the parks esp. Epcot. I'm doing this with my son because he loves to write(he' only 5) and he will be missing school for our trip this fall.
