My family had a most wonderful trip @WDW for Thanksgiving. We had a plan that allowed us to do everything we wanted even though it was a pretty crowded week. Here's our plan: arrived 11/18 and took bus to TTC and then monorail to GFC for dinner. 11/19--MGM---Used FP for ToT & R&R and were able to use standby for all other attractions. It was a great day. DMIL was blown away by Osborne lights and Fantasmic. 11/20---MK---Very crowded but FP helped. Loved the POC updates. Realized MK has become our least favorite park since the youngest child is now 17 and much prefers MGM rides. It was still a good day. 11/21---AK---A very cold morning, so it was great that hot coffee was waiting on our table @Donald's breakfast. Got to see the new Nemo musical. It was cute. Fell in love with Everest! 11/22---Epcot Future World---Used FP for Mission Space (green team for me and DMIL) It's her new favorite. Not fond of the Nemo & Friends because we liked Living Seas. Will probably skip this in the future. 11/23---Epcot WS---Used standby for TT first thing. Had fun seeing the attractions in all of the countries as we're usually too rushed for this. Had CS lunch in Mexico & Teppanyaki for dinner. An excellent day. 11/24---AK for morning, got FP for Kilamanjaro and goofed off until return time. FP return for Everest was already 6:00 pm, so we skipped it. Hopped over to MGM to do ToT one more time & Osborne lights. Departed 11/25 for the long, sad drive home. We've agreed that this is still our favorite week to come because with FP and a little planning we are not bothered by crowds. Just hope it's warmer next time, but we had planned for cold weather so it was OK.

Thanks for the trip report, mind if I ask about how long was the wait time for the rides?

Thanks for the great trip report. I wish more trip reports were like yours so that we don't get lost in the details. I really like your summary :)

We just got back too, and likewise had a plan that saw us through a very busy week - the busiest I've attempted in 20 years!

Glad you had a great time - we did too.

Thanks for the positive report. We are going next year at Thanksgiving. I am a planner also, so I hope our trip is as wonderful as yours. :sunny:
