I've already booked Home for the Holidays, but now I'm wondering if I should do the 70th Anniversary tour instead? Any input from those who have been on either tour would be appreciated.

I'd also be interested in knowing for sure which "nighttime spectacular" is included for the 70th during the holiday season. I would assume that would be fireworks. Previously Home for the Holidays said it included a nighttime spectacular, but they changed that to parade viewing.

i did the tour on my June trip...while the parade seating was great ( right on the curb, corner opposite where Plaza Inn people sit - facing the train station, this would be right hand side), the tour was scrambled that day..,our guide (Paula) was not quite altogether, a little scattered if you follow my drift. Some of it wasn't her fault, the train was down, then up and we just spent a lot of time walking back and forth.

I got a voucher to get a treat during the parade. A nice pin which I sold on ebay 😉. For me, it was worth it to have a great viewing spot for PTN. I've seen the Christmas parade prolly a dozen times so it wouldnt be worth it to me to spend the money on the 70th tour just for a parade seat.

HOWEVER, speaking to others that evening while waiting for PTN, they said their guide was very good and knowledgeable and they felt it was well worth the money.

I hope someone who has taken the tour during holiday time responds to tell you what "nighttime spectacular" you get to see.
My guess is that Disney IT is too behind to bother going into the description and changing it just for the holidays...they will prolly just tell you when you check in.

ADDED: If both tours are including seating for the parade, that is not a very large area to put all those people in. 🤷‍♀️. Hopefully someone will let us know....

ADDED: I just did a google search for reviews and there is nothing from this year...
