Is is just me or are they starting to discontinue these? When I went today (to do a color recognition book), they had more regular paint chips than they did the mickey head ones.

They have a ton at our home depot. Maybe their just running low.

Let's hope!

I don't think they were running low, I think they were replacing them. The other "swatches" had two colors on them and had little grey mickey heads in the corner.

hmmm...I'll have to keep a look out at our store. Do you need some sent to you? I can try to get them for you. Just email me your colors and address. I'll see what I can do.:D

Maybe they are disappearing to fast. A couple months ago I saw someone selling them on E-bay. Is that crazy or what.

til I get my lime green ones.

DH has to make a trip there tonight. I will remind him to check for them & ask him to pick up a few extras.

How safe are these for scrapping? Would you only use them on pages w/o pictures or do you laminate them first and use them on the same pages as pictures?

I havent used them yet, but I will use them on the same page as my photos. I will use them as embellishments and either mat it or my photos or both.

I am sooo glad I found this thread!! That is a GREAT idea!! Did you ever get around to using them?? How did it turn out??

I was just at my HD the other day to pick up more Mickey Head paint chips. They had tons of them, before I got there of course. I had to get more because I'm making the color book that was shown in the October (I think) issue of Simple Scrapbooks. Is anyone else copying this album idea? If so, how are you attaching the magnets and velcro to your page protectors? I'm having trouble finding something that won't pull off.

Robin, I can check mine tomorrow to see if there are any for you! I would love to see color book you mentioned.

I have plenty. What I was trying to say is that my HD had lots before I got there and was running low when I left, if you know what I mean. :hyper: Luckily they haven't minded when I've walked out with a large chunk of their supply of Mickey head paint chips.
