Home Away from Home resort question

We have stayed in the Beach Club Villas and LOVED it....now we are thinking of returning this December and do not know if we should try a new Home Away from Home resort or stick with Beach Club. Do any of you prefer other HAH resorts over Beach Club? Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated!!

Since you're going in December I would suggest VWL. The WL is beautiful for the holidays. We were in BWV last Dec and loved it. But since you just stayed at BCV you might want to try something more different than BW. All the resorts are done nicely for the holidays. But there is just something extra special about VWL.

We have stayed at OKW and VWL. OKW is very nice and we enjoyed it, but we love VWL. I agree that it is beautiful during the holidays. DH's family came with us and the literally stopped with their mouths hung open when they entered the lobby.

I have stayed at all of the HAH properties, both DVC and FW Cabins. If you have small children, VWL may be better, but to me at Christmas, I always recommend the Epcot resorts-either BCV or BWV. Yes, I've seen the lobby at VWL decorated at Christmas, but I prefer the Boardwalk decorations (including the all poinsetta Christmas tree at Village Green. Also, Epcot is, to me, where most of the holiday events are happening-CP, Holiday storytellers/Santas, and the Epcot tree lighting. Also, from the Epcot resorts you can walk to MGM, where Osborne Lights are. Of the 2 Epcot HAH resorts, it's really personnal preference of theming, although I have to put my plug in for my fave, BCV.

Don't do it, you will never be able to go back to a regular room!!!

Seriously, once you have all the space, your own washer and dryer and that wonderful jacuzzi tub, you will never be able to stay in a regualr hotel room again. We have stayed in the VWL and the BWV and loved them both for different reasons. If you are going during the holidays, I would agree with the VWL because it really has that Christmasy feel.
