Hi everyone!
I have recently bought a house, and I am looking to have a security system installed. I hvae been trying to research some different companies, and it seems as though AlarmForce and ADT both offer similar services, although alarmforce is quite a bit cheaper.

I was hoping to get some opinions from anyone who has used either of these companies?

I have used ADT for 5 years, They changed batteries for free. I am hooked up through my fire alarms, so if they go off, the fire department will come.

We are happy with them.

I know I looked at Alarmforce lately to compare and I decided to stay with ADT.

It is worth it to compare prices on ''free'' system and higher monthly vs paying for the system and lower monthly fee.

Also figure whether you want wired vs wireless.

We got a ''free'' wireless system from ADT, we are under contract with them for 3 years, for a little less than 40$ a month. Other companies would charge up to 800$ for the system and installation !!

ETA: my husband called earlier this week and got the monthly lowered to a bit less than 30$ ( taxes included).

We were using a small company that we were very happy with. When we replaced all of our windows, they wanted to charge us quite a bit of money to rewire all the windows. We did a bit of research and ended up switching to ADT. They didn't charge us to install the system and rewire the windows. We've been with them for a year now and have been very happy.
