A few Sunday Mornings ago me and the wife were lounging in bed enjoying our day off. She was browsing through her email on her Ipad when all of a sudden I hear "OH MY GOSH" come from her side of the bed.
She looks at me and says "Southwest has $89 flights to Orlando". I started laughing as I reached for My Ipad to pull up MDE because I knew what was coming. We ended up booking this Friday, Sat and Sunday at ASM. I'm typically a hotel snob of the worst order, but we decided to try and keep the budget on this trip in check since it was totally unplanned. Looks like MK, HS and AK will be the lucky winners on this lightning fast trip. We reluctantly scratched Epcot since that's where we spent the most time at Christmas and we just couldn't jam all 4 parks in our tight schedule. We have a lunch booked at Kona (one of our favorites, my wife is addicted to the potstickers) and a dinner at Mama Melrose's (a first for us).
I'm a bit worried about the bus transportation, which I find absolutely terrible and usually try and avoid by resort choice, but it is what it is. Since this is such a fast one we won't be doing a lot of back and forth to the resort, so I'm hoping that helps. We've never done a last minute trip like this before. It almost doesn't seem real since I'm used to months and sometimes years of buildup.
