Holy Mickey!! I gained HOW MUCH weight in 9 days??!! Quick opinions and TONS O Pics!

Well, I kid you not when I say I was 6lbs heavier the day we came home from Disney even with walking all day every day! Does that tell you how much we ate?? haha I have never gained weight at Disney before so I was shocked!

I will give some quick opinions and share lots of pics... I will warn ya now though.. we are not very adventerous eaters so this may be a little bland for some tastes..haha

So, shall I begin?


We arrived in Disney early..and by early I mean 12am early..lol So we got a little sleep and were up early to go over to to French Quarter to try some Beignets...

Opinion?? YUMMY! They were very tastey..nothing I would rush back for considering some of the other things I had during this trip but still quite good!

That is my worst fear... I figure I am going to go & enjoy in Dec. But first I am really looking forward to your review. Beignets are on my list.

Later in the day we headed over to DTD for lunch at my most fave place ever!!.. Wolfgang Puck Express.. I don't care if this place was a TS place.. I would still eat there. I love it. Great atmosphere..great food..great service. Love it all!!

We had the Rosemary Chicken and the Chicken Alfredo..

Both were perfect as always! Can't complain a bit. I loved the flavors and all was cooked just right! We left about to pop and just took the desserts back to the room.



That night was Liberty Tree. This is a first nights tradition for us that we have always enjoyed...

Food was pretty good.. I have grown a little less happy with this one over time but still a nice night. The dessert was all melted when we got it and I am not an apple fan so i was really hoping it would be the cherry cobbler but no such luck..lol



Will add more tomorrow.. Gotta let dh get some sleep!

Since our dinner was early that night we got a little hungry later on.. I decided to head to Sleepy Hollow and then we took that treat over to Casey's to split a meal...

Sadly, by the time I got ready to eat my funnel cake it was too crisp.. I had waited too long..

The Casey's food was good though. Gotta love those cheesey fries..

We were in the MK and had lunch at Pinocchio's.. I got busy chatting with a friend though and did not get any pics..sorry..lol

I was a little sad that they were not allowing you to get the Figaro fries with a pizza on the ddp any longer. On past trips we were always able to. I was also sad that they no longer had the milkshakes for dessert. Really, the choices here were crappy and the service..not to friendly. BUT.. we did get our favorite seat with the window looking out at the castle so that was nice. We decided to just use one credit and get a pizza, drink and cheesecake and then use a snack credit for the Figaro fries.

The only thing I got a picture of was the cheesecake ...which was NASTY imo!

The pizza and fries were good though.

Later in the hot hot day we grabbed a frozen drink and a cookie..

We loved them both!



That night we went to Whispering Canyon.

We got over to check in about 10 minutes before our adr time. We were told they were on about a 20 minute wait time so we went out to sit on the terrace area. We chatted for a while with another family and realized it had been about 40 minutes so we headed in to check and see how much longer it would be. The buzzer went off just as I got to the steps..lol

I started out with my fave..strawberry milkshake!!!

This was just as yummy as I recall!


We got the skillet and the pasta dish.

We did not care for the shrimp in the skillet but the rest was all very good.

Our waitress stayed gone for a long time and seemed a lot more concerned with the huge table behind us so we waited for a while on refills, the check, etc.. We did not get any of the fun stuff either like the big drinks but by this point we were really in a hurry to make it back to the MK to see the fireworks so I asked for dessert as she was walking by and we ate a small bit of it and hurried on our way..

The desserts were the choc cake and the banana dust bowl but short the bananas.

They were both very very good but I was just too darn full and too hurried to enjoy all of it..lol

This was our Studios day. We could not decide where to eat lunch but ended up at the Backlot Express..

The guy behind the counter was just the sweetest guy! He was giving ds milk and cookies for being good and just chatting away with us. We order 2 double cheeseburgers and the fruit parfait and cheesecake.

After trying the burger I was not impressed so I took it up to get the turkey sandwich instead. The cm was great and told me to wait at my table and he would bring one out to me. He came out a few minutes later with my sandwich and 2 more cookies..haha He was so funny.

The sandwich was really good and the fruit parfait cup was also very very good. Again, the cheesecake..not so much! Dh enjoyed his burger as well. This was just not a burger trip for me I guess as I don't think I actually ate a single one while there..lol

Later in the afternoon we stopped by the writters stop to get a slushie..

While there I began to eye all the goodies in the case....

Hmm... what to pick???

I ended up with the carrot cake cookie and the drink...

The drink..refreshing as always.. The cookie/cake.. I did not care for. So I got the white choc macadamia cookie instead which was quite good!

Up next dinner at Narcoossee's....

HEY SHAUNA!! How have you been? We are doing "ok"! We were great til we got home from Disney and the whole family has come down with some terrible virus. I will be so glad when it is gone! ICK!!!

Other than that though, we are good.

Yes, we really do..but we are big bacon cheese fries fans so it was bound to be good..haha
