Holy Mickey!! I gained HOW MUCH weight in 9 days??!! Quick opinions and TONS O Pics!

Thanks so much for all the nice comments. Seems I lost track..lol Ok, getting back with it to share the last of the photos. :thumbsup2

i am so pleased i really want to try them. i can't wait for our trip in september next year. all i think i will be eating are those zebra domes! they look so good.

do you think the food in boma had strange flavours?

Some things were very different but there was PLENTY there that was very normal stuff. I loved the flavors..and like I said, I am about as picky of an eater as there is. I really loved it.

Sorry y'all have all been so sick. But you are right that it is better to be sick at home than at Disney!

So, was your server inattentive or just not terribly friendly? I ask because I would much rather have a server who isn't terribly friendly than one that is inattentive. Also, there are many times when I don't want a chatty server. If I'm tired, I just want them to do their job and a good server can sense this. I was just wondering.

Your pics are fabulous, as usual. How is your photography going?

Thanks Shauna. :) The server was a little of both.. She was not friendly when she spoke..totally ignored ds (which always comes off as rude to me b/c he likes to talk to the waitress/waiter sometimes) and she did not come by our table much at all. It just made the whole night not feel so "great", kwim?

My photography is going ok.. It gets really slow at times and picks up at other times. I love it but wish it would be a little more steady. ;)

Oh my your food pics are so good, I can't wait to get down there and start eating up all that food myself. I really need to remember to try the school bread this year!!!

Wonderful, wonderful pics & reviews!!!!:yay:

Post 1800...and it is about food.. :rotfl:

Friday was MNSSHP day. We decided to spend the morning/early afternoon in Epcot. We booked Chefs de France for lunch that day. As we were waiting to be seated dh seems not too keen on eating there so I ask if there was something else he wanted. He says he can't think of anything. He would have loved Le Cellier but they could not get us in til 2:30 and we wanted to eat well before then. I mentioned Tutto Italia and he seemed really interested in that idea. So I let them know we are not going to be eating afterall (talk about changing your mind last minute) and we head down to Tutto in hopes that they will be able to seat us.

We walk in and ask if they can seat us and are told "immediately"! :goodvibes We are seated and everything looks really nice. I had never been here before..even when it was Alfredo's.

Our server was great and explained everything really well. We were started with different types of bread and olive oil..

All was good! :thumbsup2

After much deliberation we order the Lasagna al Forno and the Bucatini Gratinati without peas.

IMG_7109.jpg

Both of these were very good but the Bucatini was just awesome. I loved the rich cream sauce. I stuffed myself silly with this dish. :rolleyes1

For dessert we got the Gianduja - Chocolate Torta and the Copetta Sotto Bosco.

These were just ok. Nothing too great but not horrible either. I think it was just us not enjoying the flavor of them both so it may just be our opinions on them.

All in all we really enjoyed this meal. I would like to fit it in next time if we can but not sure yet how we will work that out.

After walking in the sun for a while I decided to grab a Kaki Gori...;)

IMG_7126.jpg

This was a great treat on a hot day!

I also made a run over to Norway for a school bread to go. :woohoo: Told ya I loved this stuff.

We ate at Crystal Palace right before the Halloween Party which was pretty good..but I did not take the camera out for pics b/c I was running low on memory card space and we were eating quickly..

After the party we decided to get a quick bite from Casey's..

IMG_7522.jpg

Yummy as always.. :thumbsup2

Your reviews and pictures are fabulous! Thank you so much for sharing! I'm really wondering now if I should switch something out for Boma...:)

I love your reviews! Sorry Narcoossee's wasn't the best. I heard such great things about that place.

Thanks so much! :)

On with the reviews.. ;)

Saturday morning was the only day we did breakfast of the trip..it was our last full day there. We were really looking forward to this breakfast b/c of the characters. I think we should have looked forward to it more for the food though b/c it was SO YUMMY!!

Here are a few random pics of our plates... I wish I had taken pics of the whole buffet line..lol I have never been brave enough to do that. :rotfl:

IMG_7573.jpg

I am such a pastry nut so how could I resist all of that??

and now the strawberry soup..this was more amazing that I ever thought it would be. Loved it..esp with the granola and fresh strawberries in it. YUMMY!!!

This was really all so good. The server was great and the character interaction was good although it took forever for them to come around and they did not stay long when they got there..lol I would definitely like to do a breakfast like this again.. maybe CP next time?? (although, I would sure miss my strawberry soup then..lol)

For lunch this day we were not that hungry so we just split some chicken breast nuggets and fries from CHH.

IMG_7668.jpg

It was tastey and a nice break from the heat.

Dinner was one we debated for a while. We could not decide where we wanted to go this night. We had booked CRT but I made the call to cancel that one when we did Jiko instead..lol We were never able to book anything else for this night b/c it was so last minute but we figured we would get a walk up some place.

We finally decided on Ragland Road so we headed over there about 5pm. We were told it would be about a 20 minute wait. No big deal.. :)

We were finally seated and had the bread brought out. I liked it but dh was not as much a fan.

IMG_7696.jpg

We decided to both get the serious sirloin steak. It was quite tastey as well. We both cleaned our plates..haha

IMG_7705.jpg

Now, for dessert..what do I want..??

IMG_7700.jpg

I have never thought I was a fan of bread pudding but I had heard so so many good things about the Ger's Break and Butter pudding that I was determined to try it for myself..

IMG_7714.jpg

Oh my Heaven in a cup!!! This was TO DIE FOR!! I am not kidding you when I say this was the best dessert I have ever had in my life.. WOW!!! I would go there just to eat this!! YUMMY!!!!!

Dh got the dundons delight and it was also quite tastey.

IMG_7712.jpg

I also just realized I forgot to share a picture of all the candy we left with from the Halloween party so here ya go...

Did the bread pudding have raisins in it? (Some do, some don't, and I'm a fan of the "don't" category.)

and now..on to the last day there...

We got up, called down to book the bounceback for next year, cleaned the room, packed up and headed out. We went to DTD first for some Wolfgang Puck Express again..

This time we got the Pepperoni Pizza and the Chicken pasta.. Both were perfect!!!

IMG_7881.jpg

IMG_7882.jpg

After that we headed to the MK for a little while and enjoyed some snacking...

Popcorn..

IMG_7892.jpg

Stale..sadly...

Crumb Cake..

IMG_7883.jpg

not a fan but that may just be me..

and a cinn roll...

IMG_7885.jpg

YUMMY!!!

Later we had Wolfgang Pucks AGAIN to take on the road with us home. :thumbsup2

and that brings me to the end. I sure miss all that good food and can't wait til next year to do it all again..hehe

Thanks so much for following along with my quick thoughts and pics. :goodvibes I hope you enjoyed the last of them.

Now, I shall go post a little to the food porn thread. :rotfl:

Sorry you did not like Narcoosee's we dined there 2 times a couple of weeks ago and had great surf n turf, and lobster. I must admit one night our server was fantastic (Amer) and the other night, just so-so (Chevy). Sadly we did not like Jiko at all, especially our server, Oscar!! The table for 2 was tiny and we were sat so close to the table on each side of us....that we could not have our own conversation over their voices.

I agree with Raglan...enjoyed the meal, but loved the bread pudding!!!

Those definitely looked like currants on top. I'm trying to figure out how I can remind myself to order it without them because I just don't like the texture. I noticed they aren't listed on the menu either so that's not going to help.

Popcorn..

IMG_7892.jpg

Stale..sadly...

Sorry the popcorn was stale. Even stale is good though when you have that view to sustain you. What a lovely shot!
