Well, so much for a relaxing day at Castaway Cay!! I'm glad that you found your KTTW cards etc and that your dd was ok. Scary stuff.

Can't wait to read about your incredible night. You deserve if after the day you had. I'm really enjoying your report!

So, we get back to the stateroom at about 2:30 and there are complaints of hunger. Captain Jack gets another "cake at sea", this time carrot cake and everyone else gets a Mickey Bar. We all fall asleep and no one budges until 4:30! I get the kids dressed and up to the clubs, and DH and I head to Shutters to do some damage! We pick out some shots, agree to have a family portrait of everyone in their pirate costumes made, and head back to the stateroom to get dressed in peace.

We go grab the kids, head to dinner with Vijay and Nikolay and enjoy Pirate night in Parrot Cay. The kids get super antsy during dinner, so they go back to the clubs. I get to have dessert with just hubby, and then we wander around for a while. I really can't remember what we did, but whatever it was, it was without kids. Oh, now I remember. We went up to Cove Cafe and had a mochacchino and read magazines. Lovely. We pick up the kids, let them do some pin trading, and head to The Golden Mickeys. We also get family pirate portraits done which came out super, super, super cute. We had them made into Christmas cards, so we can check that off our list now. This year's goal - cards sent out immediately after Thanksgiving, ambitious, but totally doable.

Tonight's show - The Golden Mickey's. Before the show, they have the "red carpet arrivals" where they have CMs pretending like they are paparazzi and "Rona Rivers" outside interviewing anyone that wants to be interviewed. Captain Jack is feeling all sorts of special in his Davey Jones costume and insists on being interviewed. He also insists on putting his very large mask on for the interview. Basically, Rona winds up interviewing a statue of Davey Jones that can shake its head. I'm sure that was great viewing for those people in the theater. We sit, and we love the Golden Mickeys. Not too much flash photography, and people were mostly polite. And now, the moment we've been waiting for, it's the PIRATE DECK PARTY!

Oh y'all, my head is still rocking from the boat, and I need to take a dramamine and have some tea and go to bed. I'll be back in the morning to tell you all about the deck party and our day at sea!

Your trip sound little like my trip. Major meltdowns embarrasing moments. It soesn't get any better than that. I call us the griswolds (From national lampoon movies) cause we always have something go wrong.

I call my DH, Grumpy. Your husband sounds just like my husband. The whole time we were on the ship, he kept asking me how much did this and that cost. i could have killed him.

Keep writing I can't wait for more.
