We listed one of our contracts late this morning.

Shontell just called and said she has a buyer.

This seems to say to potentail buyers that you should call the re-sellers ahead of time to put your name on a list. Otherwise what you want may get scooped up without you ever seeing it.

Just wanted to post that the Timeshare Store sold my 105 point contract recently, and from the day I sent in the paperwork by snail mail until closing was just over three weeks, and I had the check in my hands before I hit the one month mark. ROFR was FAST!!

By the way, I just completed a transfer that includes a ROFR, and it was completed in about 3 weeks also. Of course, I hand-delivered the documents myself when I was at WDW and picked them up when they needed to be sent somewhere else, so that did help things along. Just waiting for the deed, which was recorded last Friday--I had to go home before that was quite done

I agree. She said she added our contract to the e-mail she sent out on Monday to potential buyers. That is how it sold. It never even made it to her website.

She said closing would take place in about six weeks. It sounds like some of you haven't had to wait that long. Maybe it will go faster than she anticipated.

I received shontell's email with that contract. We have been mulling a vwl additional contract. We almost bought that contract. If we were sure we wanted to buy we would have bought that contract immediately. I told dw it would never make the web site. We love vwl.

Just another satisfied customer of Shontelle and Maggie!
When I called Maggie about my 100 points at VB (September), I could never have imagined that she would have it sold in 2 hours!
She sold my 400 points at HH (October) within 24 hours!

We made the decision to sell off all our DVC points and have no regrets. It was a hassle for us to have them as our middleman when we decided to use them to cruise and as I have said before, I really and truly resented the fact that we were charged $75.00 for making a name change nearly 9 months prior to our cruise. Yes, it's in the contracts, but exactly how much work and time is it to make the change? Not $75.00 in my opinion, therefore, we made our decision.

And thanks to Maggie (and Shontelle), it was over and done, painlessly, within a day!

We faxed our paperwork in and had a buyer a few hours later.
