Holy Conventions Batman!

We checked into the BWV on Sunday and boy oh boy, is the boardwalk over run with conventioneers. Monday night alone, I counted FIVE convention receptions on the boardwalk - One on the boardwalk at the Yacht, one on the beach at the Beach Club, one at ESPN, one at Big River Brewing and one at Atlantic Dance Hall.

On my morning run, I saw that they had more set up for this evening. Wow, I have never seen this before.

It's that time of year! A lot of conventions come to Orlando, and Disney, between New Year's and Easter - taking advantage of the nice weather when the rest of the country is freezing. We also get a lot of conventions in October and November, but winter is really busy.

Conventioneers bother some people, but I'm OK with it. If it bugs people too much, I would suggest Poly, WL/VWL or AKL for deluxes, as they don't have the massive meeting space the other deluxes do, or OKW and SSR for villas. All of the Epcot resorts have meeting space, as do CR and GF.
