Dh's grandmother passed away in August. She was a lovely lady who was quite shrewd. She left a sizable estate. I don't want to say how much but Dh gets a portion of that and it turns out to be more than twice what we expected. Not a fortune but about a years income for us.
Guess who's for sure going to WDW in October??? ME and DH!!!!
I LOVE YOU GRANNY!!!!!

Still, we'd rather have Granny, she was a hoot. And even more, I wish she'd have lived it up in her final years rather than hoarding it.
Bad for Granny good for you, I guess. Just try to be thankful for what your DH gets. As my grandmother (who is constantly rearranging her will)reminds me, things like that are a privelege you have to EARN, not a right.
I'm sure she will be missed. But I'm happy for you with what she's left your husband! I know you work hard, and I'm glad things will ease up a bit. CONGRATS ON PAYING OFF THE BILLS! I won't mention what my son says about his inheritance. LOL!
