Holy Buckets! It's A Solo TR, 3/8-15/09 **5/1/09 Vids & Pics Done**

Hello!!

GREAT resort pick; it's my fav! We love it there - very relaxing, peaceful, and beautiful grounds!

Is the scrapbook you sent off for the one with the Jiff or Smucker's offer?? I keep forgetting to do that and need to now that we're going back this year!!

Hi there, thanks for stopping by. :wave2:

I hope I feel the same about POFQ. This is my first on-site stay, so I'm hoping for the best!

Yep, it was the Jiff/Smuckers offer. I should be getting it somewhere around April 1st, just a couple of weeks after I return from my trip. :dance3:

I'm going to buy my Jif this weekend; hopefully it's not too late. I'm afraid they'll run out!!

We just booked last night though, so I'm bound and determined to get a book!

Sounds fun and busy.
We are going to try Beauty and the Beast this year too. We haven't seen it yet. We really haven't done many of the shows, now that I think of it. We also want to try and hit at least one or the other of the Lion King or Nemo at AK this year.
I always plan big and we never get it all done. Some day when Claire has grown up, I think I should take a solo trip and just do what I darn well please. LOL! Well DH can come if he wants, but then he can sleep or whatever if he doesn't want to keep up with me. I bet I would have the best time then. LOL!

I defintitely want to hit the shows. I'm not sure how I feel about the parades yet.

Definitely the fireworks and doing some "night strolls".

I did not plan a specific day for this park, if at all. I still have the Resort plans to go, unless I can combine them on park days. I still have to figure all that out. Transportation is a little confusing for my poor solo brain to handle. :rotfl2:

Sames goes for this planning as the others. I also added another list. Magic Kingsom is the oldest and largest park, so it has ALOT OF STUFF.

There is also 2 tours that look interesting. I did not book any tours of the MK, so I don't know the availability. The Family Magic Tour, 2 hours long, starts at 10am and costs $27. The second one is Magical Milestones, at 9am, select days and costs $25. This is in addition to the park entrance ticket.

The Must-Do List:
See Cinderella's Castle (check out the mosaic walls! princess: )

Snow White's Scary Adventures
Tomorrowland Indy Speedway

All the kiddie kid areas in the various sections

No Can Do List:
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad

Hall of Pesidents - Closed for refurbishment

And the tweaking goes on...

I cancelled Monday morning plans to go to Leu Gardens (they were temporary anyway) and will go to a park instead.

As of today, the park calendar has EMH AM at Animal Kingdom. That might be a good choice as it is my favorite park! :yay:

Oh, and Happy B-Day to me! LOL!

Happy Birthday!!!
EMH at Animal Kingdom sounds great. I hear the animals are most active early in the morning.

Hmmm, I think I may try to find some stickers as well.

I got some Disney letterhead (MK Castle) for joining up on something (was it Insider?) and I'm thinking to write a "can't wait to see you" note to my 3 year old goddaughter princess: in FL.

They said they will come to see in Orlando, so this is a little added incentive!

Is today your birthday?
If so Happy birthday!

Yes, it is thank you! :goodvibes

It is my legal b-day, but I usually celebrate it in March for some personal reasons. My trip is my b-day present to myself when I celebrate it.

18 days and counting!

I just need to get the darn calendars to align and figure out all the WDW transportation! LOL!!

I will be getting to WDW on 3/14 Staying st Fort Wilderneness. I am hoping to do a monorail bar tour. Don't have all the arrangements yet. Maybe you could join us.
Terry

Our trip is my birthday gift too. (if you remember mine was Sat. ;) ) it just works better for us to go in March too.
