Holy Buckets! It's A Solo TR, 3/8-15/09 **5/1/09 Vids & Pics Done**

It was really nice to read about the Boardwalk area! We're staying at the YC in May but have never really gotten over there to explore. It sounds like it would be a nice place to spend a relaxing evening.:goodvibes

I've never heard of the surprise bags at Mickey's Mart before... I'm definitely going to have to check those out! How much are they?

It's very pretty and lots to do! If I could stay at a deluxe, it would be the Boardwalk, hands down.

Surprise bags are a bunch of little things in a double-grabbed bag and you don't know what you are going to get. I think it was $6.99 and you definitely get more than $7 worth of items. I got a mousepad, little plush key chain, car topper and something else, which I can't remember right now. It was so fun opening it to see what you are going to get.

It's a very small store located near the boat launch at Marketplace, so you have to keep your eyes peeled. It is easily missed.

Wow. Spoodles is going? I didn't know that. I heard it was really popular.

Yep. Cat Cora from Iron Chef is opening a Greek place in the Fall.

Spoodles looked pretty tiny, so maybe it wasn't profitable enough?

Sunday
Day 8 – Departure Day

I figure I started at the very beginning and I’ll keep on going until the very end! :grouphug:

I did a lot of packing last night & just have to finish the last minute stuff this morning. I wake at 6:3oam & finish getting ready, probably around 7:30am-ish.

I leave the room and head for the Resort Airline Check-in desk. There’s only one person in front of me, so another CM comes to help. CM Fernando does seem a little confused :scared: but does get me checked in and prints out a boarding pass. I’m a little worried about this since there is a bit of a language barrier.

The CM at the front door waves good-bye and has a sad face on. :sad1: It was very cute! He says he wants me to stay and I agree! Sunshine is good for one's soul.

I take a few last pics and await my pick-up with Magical Express for 8:10am. It arrives but it is a full-on Animal Kingdom bus. :confused3 Off we go and make stops at Old Key West & Saratoga Springs. I get a text from Continental that my gate is 9. Technolgy can be helpful at times. :upsidedow

We arrive at the airport and I get stopped at security. It seems my eye solution cleaner has a chemical in it that makes it very very very dangerous! Alrighty then. I seem to remember coming down with it. :confused3

I head for my gate, stop at Starbucks (chai tea latte!) and head to gate 9. Around 9:45am, preboarding doesn’t begin for another hour. Better early than rushing is my motto. :goodvibes

This time, children can preboard. I go to find my seat and the lady there doesn’t want to get out for me to pass! What the? :headache: She wants to place her feet on the seats instead. I insist she moves out of the aisle and she does. Ugh. Some people. She must have really wanted my backside in her face, I guess.

After that, I read, I rest, I relax. We take off on time at 11:15am. The lady next to me is still indignant and does actually swat me  when I didn’t react fast enough to garbage collection. Grr. I let it go because I’m just left the happiest place on earth but it did test my patience.

My plane lands about 30 minutes early at 1:30pm, but before you rejoice (and know that airlines now build in ALOT of wiggle room), the bags took until 2:10pm to arrive. Interestingly enough, that was our original landing time. I'm happy my bag made it. Rejoice away, my peeps! :lmao:

I text my bro and he comes rolling up in 5 minutes (he was waiting outside on the highway, there is no waiting lot). He pick me up and I’m off to home, hearth & Prozac.

Coming soon: pictures, pictures, pictures! And Video!

Thanks :goodvibes I try.

I would have put more but DIS only allows 25 images per post.

The totebag is AWESOME! I think I may have a closer pic. It was such a surprise. :)

Did 2 more posts with pictures, so the first 3 days are completed.

I hope to get my Photopass CD soon, so I would b able to post those pics as well.

Also, be aware that I had to take similies out because the limit per post is 25 images.

Thanks! Enjoy! :goodvibes

I love the POFQ pictures. It looks like a beautiful resort! We stayed at POR in 2003 but never got to see the FQ half because it was closed.

And mmmm the pork sandwich from Captain Cooks is SO yummy. One of my favourite CS meals in WDW!:goodvibes

Just got an email that my Photopass CDs are in the mail!

Whoo-hooo! :woohoo:

Did another post and a half of pictures!

Though, I do still have Photopass pics and my friend Jennifer's to add to my albums! :goodvibes
