Sorry if that has been asked before.

What are your reviews on this restaurant? We have a Fantasmic Dining Package for dinner there on August 7th.

Thanks :)

Ate there for dinner once, it was worse then horrible

most ppl use the words "dirty", "disgusting" and "never again" when asked about it...I have Fantasmic booked here too. I asked the same question and the overwhelming majority of responses were negative...I haven't cancelled yet, but I plan to.:sad2:

One of only two Disney restaurants we will never step foot in again (the other being Boatwright's for dinner). Absolutely terrible service and worse food.

I'll stick up for H&V. Been a while since we ate there -- dinner during Easter 2006 trip, I think -- but we were very pleased. Took a long time to be seated (we had a group of 10, with 4 kids), but waitress took good care of us and the food was very good. Didn't encounter any of the cleanliness probs people have brought up, and my mother-in-law would have noticed them immediately!

We ate at H&V on our last trip a little over a year ago. Our waitress was really good and bent some rules for us allowing us to use a double discount with the DDC and something else (I don't recall the exact details, but it was very nice of her). The food was good, not great, but good. We didn't notice any cleanliness issues either, but then again we had an early dinner resi and maybe it wasn't dirtied up until later!

Our dinner with Fantasmic pkg was very good......plenty to choose from and hot and refilled plenty of times...the desserts were wonderful too....I like the meat and the fish choices too....

our experience here has been excellent. we have eaten here twice and havent been dissapointed on ether occasion. i think that the key here and may be the case in most wdw buffets, is getting there as early as possible. i do not know what the earliest adr time with the fantasmic package is, just get the earliest time as possible. the food is always fresher then and so are the H&V CM's

Ditto, ate there in Aug 2007. Ate well, were well served and the food was good. I'd pick it again for a Fantasmic package.

We ate there for dinner Oct. 2006. We are not fond of buffets for dinner, but booked this since they did not charge a premium for the Fantasmic dinner package. DH, DDs and I enjoyed it much more than we expected. We did not notice any cleanliness issues, and the bathrooms are shared with the restaurant next door (50's Primetime, I think), so they were clean. All in all, a good experience.

(The main reason we picked it was for the Fantasmic package - since F could be canceled due to weather, we didn't want to pay extra for the seats and then not get to use them. I don't know if the price is the same now or not, but it is definitely something to think about!)

On my part I thought it was good, neverending prime rib and lots of tasty desserts, meat and sweets, sounds good in my book:thumbsup2 . But on the flip side my girlfriend was sick all of the next day and she was positive it was because of something she ate at H&V.

Did Fantasmic package. Waited for our ressie but no big deal. Food was OK not outstanding, not horrible. Not that we didn't like it, but we probably will try something else next time.
