Hi,

Quick question - we have an 8 am reservation at Hollywood and Vine on a day when HS opens at 9. If we get out of breakfast a few minutes early, would we be able to get over to Toy Story Mania before they let the masses of people in at 9, or would we be stopped somewhere along the way? I know they stop the crowd at the end of the Main Street, and H&V is off to the left, wondering if we can get down those side streets without a problem.

Thanks!!

address DHS specifically, but at other parks you are held near the restaurant until opening. With H&V's location that doesn't give you much of a locatiojn advantage.

I have an 8:00 reservation too with the hopes of getting to TSM as quickly after rope drop as possible. I believe we will need to wait for rope drop to proceed to TSM. I think I'm going to let Nana take the baby and I'll walk a little faster and get FP for our group. Oooo...getting excited!

This past year they added "Rope Drop #3" as a Greeter position at DHS. This person controls access from the H&V area. You may join, but not precede, the Running Of The Bulls en route to TSMM or ST.

:rotfl2::thumbsup2 Now THAT'S what I call a really appropriate name for RD at DHS:rotfl:

Ugh, that really sucks. I hate rope drop at HS, last year we had a couple literally knock over the carriage with our baby in it. Scariest moment of motherhood - and all so they could get on Rockin Rollarcoaster quickly. Not quite worth it, when you almost got my son trampled! I wish they wouldn't do it that way, would make it so much more civil to just have people going through the ticket lines. Plus, then I could get my early start from breakfast. I'm upset that they don't give people with the early dining a head start - since they seem hard pressed to fill the seats for that breakfast, might be a good marketing idea for them...just think how fast us "boardies" would be booking reservations!

So would you say that a 8:00AM breakfast at H&V would put you at a disadvantage in the running of the bulls or would you say it doesn't change much?

Last year, we did H&V at 8 am. We finished eating around 8:50. I'm not sure if it's still like this, but we were able to head closer to TSM. We weren't allowed all the way there, but we were in front of the rope drop crowd. It worked out perfect.
