Planning our first trip to WDW since DL is closed indefinitely. We are planning for 4 park days and I think we want to do 2 days of Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and then either Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom. I think we definitely want to do Epcot because of Frozen ride. What is better for a toddler Hollywood Studios or Animal Kigdom and would make for a longer day? WDW seems so overwhelming compared to DL for planning!!

Pros for HS:
Disney Jr. Show
Frozen Sing a Long Show
MMRR
Toy Story Midway Mania (MMRR and TSMM are the only two rides with no min height)
Mickey Shorts Theatre

Pros for AK:
Safari ride
2 amazing animal walking trails
Rafikis planet watch (includes train ride)
Na'vi River Journey
It's Tough To Be a Bug 3D movie (can be frightening to kids)
Triceratop Spin
Live bird show

Personally I would pick Animal Kingdom since there is more to do to fill the time and most kids love watching animals, but you know your kid best!

Definitely AK - depending on height, toddler may not be able to do much at HS

AK hands down
So many animals to look at as well as it's a great family friendly atmosphere.
Do/ did you go to DL often?

Animal Kingdom! HS has been to busy and park reservation are being booked up because of the new Star Wars land and rides.

AK- there is too much time spent waiting in lines right now at HS. In AK, there is so much to explore in addition to the rides. My kids love checking out the trails with all the animals and earning adventure badges.

I have been recently to both with a toddler. Animal kingdom wins hands down, especially given the current state of things.
Rafiki’s petting zoo is great, comes with a train ride.
Also, AK has spiked Dole Whip floats.
If you do go to HS, don’t miss the Disney JR dance party.

Just went with our toddler - AK hands down. The park is so beautiful with many places to slow down and check out the details. DHS is so ride focused and that’s hard with a little one who isn’t tall enough for most of them.

DAK for sure. Probably always, but *especially* with so many shows closed down right now. My 2- and 4-year-olds love DAK! (And make sure to watch The Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom on Disney+ to get them excited for it ahead of time!!)
