Am I crazy to think that I can get a mid morning/early afternoon smugglers run or slinky dog fast pass for 2 on my 3rd park day? My 60 days is approaching quickly and trying to finalize plans.

This will be on Wednesday April 29. Picked this week because well after Easter.

Hate to say it and then be wrong, but I bet you could maybe get one for around 3pm? Do you have a cut off time? And, of course if that is the key FP try to book it first and then fill in the rest.

ETA; How I arrived at my guess; March trip for 3 of us, I got a SDD for evening around 6 or so, but didn't grab it first. So, you have fewer people, and if you go for that one first you should do better than me perhaps... and MFSR wasn't even available for FP yet when I booked FP's.

My sister booked her fastpasses this morning for her April trip and she wasn’t able to get Smugglers Run at all for their first day at HS at the beginning of their trip. In fact, she said all tier 1 rides were already gone.

With the new tier structure and 3 high priority rides being tier 1, it redistributes there demand off SDD more evenly. If your look at FP availability on Touring Plans or The Dibb, you can see things are plentiful at D+3 at DHS. Yes, you can now easily get an evening FP for SDD on D+3 with the new tier system.

My FP window opened today. I stupidly forgot this morning and didn't start booking until about noon. All 3 tier 1s were available for late afternoon/evening at 60+2 at that time, so I'd imagine pickings were even better at 7 AM ET.

When i got mine it was 60+2, my first fp for MMSR was for 615pm i kept moving it and checking it, i was able to move it to 215. Then they opened up an hour earlier and and i grabbed a 915. So yes all things are possible. Just take what ever you can get. You can move them later. Im just hoping that i will be able to get into sdd and mmrr. Guess we will see how it goes

How busy is that day.
Probably the biggest one and we don't know the answer yet, is how big ofimpac will opening MMRR have on FP?
My guess is SDD and MMRR will still be the most popular Tier 1 FP, but with MMRR open, it might be a little easier to get.

We just did ours yesterday, and HS is our 60+3. We got Star Tours, Midway Mania and Smugglers Run which is at about 2ish. We were picky with our time because we have Olga's at 3:50.

Also forgot about our FP window (thanks to February being a day shorter) but logged on at 11am today and was able to get MMRR on our +2 - elected to do this as FP instead of SDD (which was available) since it’s newer although I’m sure we’ll be missing lots of cute details in the queue but I’m not willing to spend a ton of time in line for this one. MFSR was also available so if your window is approaching don’t be discouraged and good luck!

If you don’t get it right away it shouldn’t be hard to get it by checking in every day to see if anyone else has switched rides.

Love hearing all these positive posts! making FP+ on Friday and will be trying for 2 days at DHS on 60+ 3,4,5, 6; need to fit AK in on one of those days. SDD and MMRR are the priority.
