Hi everyone.

I know there is not too much to do at Hollywood Studios with my 2 year old but I would like to go a few hours just to do Toy Story Land rides and Minnie & Mickey Railway and see some characters. What is the best strategy...hopping in the evening after spending a day at Animal Kingdom or Epcot......OR going on our last day after our breakfast, though we won't get there until about 12:00pm and I know it will be HOT. We are going in August and staying at The Contemporary. Please help because I need to see if I should make my lightning lanes on our last day for HS or another park. Thank you!

Does your 2yo nap and are they tall enough for slinky?

My vote would be hopping in the evening (after a mid-day rest), with LL stacked for TSM, slinky (if tall enough), and MMRR. I've been watching the wait times and it looks like there's a lull around 3:30-4:30 when the wait times aren't bad and you could target aliens.

Thanks! Unfortunately, she isn't tall enough for Slinky yet and she still naps. She doesn't really nap in stroller either.

I was thinking about splitting Epcot into two mornings. After lunch at Epcot on one of our mornings, I would head back to hotel to nap and then head out to Hollywood Studios. I was thinking of making my first LL at HS at 6:30pm. I feel that will give us enough time to nap and get ready to head out to HS. What do you think? Thanks so much for your help!

I prefer to knock out HS early with little kiddos, mine just *aren't* afternoon kids.

I wouldn't do the evening because if I remember some of the character meets start winding down around 4.

If you can get some midday LL's on your last day and seeing characters is important, I'd take my chances with after breakfast.

Thanks! So getting there at 12:00pm would be ok? I just need to leave the park by 5:00pm since we have dinner at 1900 Park Fare at 6:45

I think so, I pulled up the tip board to see LL availability in real time and both alien saucers and MMRR are available today between noon and 4. Toy story midway mania is sold out.

Sponica makes a good point about the character meet and greets wrapping up by the afternoon. If your toddler may like the frozen sing a long, beauty and the beast show, or Disney junior dance party, those also wrap up by the afternoon.

Since you're thinking about doing 2 Epcot mornings, is it an option to do 1 Epcot morning and 1 HS morning? My concern about entering at 12pm in August would be the heat and that little bodies have a hard time knowing when to stop and take a break, especially when they're having fun.

If you two year old watches Disney Jr and likes the chracaters at the get animated dance party, definitely do it. You can just walk in whenever and hang out in AC and you get to dance and interact with quite a few characters (Timon, pluto, fancy nancy, and vampirina were there when we went).

I think they should just keep it at that all the time, much better than the little show they had before.
