After not being able to get reservations, just starting to see that brown derby and 50's Prime Time have lounges.

We are paying OOP so this seems great.

Any opinions on these?
Are we missing out by not being at the actual restaurant?
Which one do you recommend?

Thanks!

We ate at the 50's Prime Time lounge last time and it was fantastic! We got the great food we wanted with barely any wait (and it was busy), our bartender "treated us like family" and we even got some bartender/waitstaff banter. Would definitely recommend it. We're going back in March and plan to try the Brown Derby Lounge.

The Brown Derby is outside, 50s is inside. I've never eaten there but we have been to the 50s lounge often, we've never been there when it wasn't crowded, I mean two deep at the bar and people sitting all over the lounge since it's the only place to wait for the restaurant. We eat at the Brown Derby every trip but haven't tried the lounge yet. They used to actually have one inside upstairs but, sadly, that no longer exists.
