Any reviews. We are eating there since it was the only option left for the VIP seating for fantasmic. Just wondered what the food was like since we have not eaten there as of yet. TIA

Your going to get a whole lot of mixed reviews on this resturant. Just keep in mind that it is a buffet. We love eating here due to the variety of items and have always had very good service. The wait time to get in even with ADR though is hit and miss.

I'll start "the mixed reviews" with a negative review. Worst food in WDW, not replenished, cold and flavorless. Absolutely the worst service - dirty to boot!

We've done the fantasmic package at Hollywood & Vine a number of times and have always enjoyed it.

We have noticed that the dessert bar selections have been gradually decreasing over the years, but the food is always good.

There is a kids section of the buffet that appeals to both children and picky adults (DH). The food offerings have been pretty consistent every time we've gone. They seem to have something for everyone. The really big plus is not having to give up an hour to wait for Fantasmic. You have guaranteed seating that you don't need to camp out to get.

Sorry...negative review from us. It is one of only two Disney restaurants that we will never step foot in again (Whispering Canyon recently joined the list after our visit last week). We've done H&V twice--both times terrible service (if any service at all), dirty conditions, and bland food which was luke warm and portions slow to be filled when they were empty. Depending on when you are going, you might not even need the VIP seats. We were there on Labor Day and did the Fantasmic Package at Mama Melrose. We showed up 30 minutes prior to the show and could have had seats nearer the middle and down front if we had wanted.
