Hollywood and Vine Closed?

Just got off the phone with Disney Dining attempting to make a dinner reservation at Hollywood and Vine in July.

I was told that the restaurant will be closed! Came as a shock.

Any insight?info?

I'm not surprised that this restaurant has closed. The writing was on the wall when they stopped serving breakfast then lunch and no characters! Can't imagine that Disney will leave it vacant for long. Wonder what plans they have for it??

maybe we can hope they will replace it with a new character meal more geared for boys - like toy story or monsters inc.. we will all just have to wait and see.. Michelle

WE HAVE A PS THERE FOR NEXT FRIDAY - 5/23RD - DOES ANYONE KNOW FOR SURE THAT THEY ARE CLOSED NOW - IF SO ANYONE GOT ANOTHER RECOMMENDATION FOR EATING AT MGM - NOTE WE ALREADY HAVE A PS AT 50'S PTC.

We were there last month and were underwhelmed. The theme is not a stand out like Sci-fi and the food far inferior to Brown Derby or Mama Melroses.

Nothing particularly bad but below par for WDW.

We are there, H&V, on May 29 - Fantasmic PS

I know no breakfast and lunch anymore - cut backs.

They are still taking PS till June 30th -
I just called Disney Dining.
60 days out for PS.

They said the web may be wrong.

Try calling Disney Dining again and ask for
H & V dinner.

Please, please let it be a Toy Story character meal. I hated standing and waiting for them.

We've all been hoping for this for a while. A CM got my hopes up a couple of months ago and told me a Toy Story meal was in the works, but no word yet. And we all know how the dining CMs can sometimes give out information that isn't correct. Anyway, we can all hope!

My girls would LOVE a Toy Story Character Meal. I hope so, too.
