Taking DS4 for the character bfast at H&V thus year and was wondering about the food. I know at CM and TH, it's a pretty plentiful buffet with lots of variety, but when I look up the H&V menu they just mention standard breakfast fare. Is it yummy? Any variety or are we just looking at eggs and sausage?

Thanks!
Deb

Standard Breakfast Fare is a very good way to put it.

Eggs
Bacon Sausage
Potatos
Waffles
danish and buns
maybe a cheese omlette type thing

cereal

That's about it

Tusker House is my favorite buffet

We went to H&V for breakfast on our last trip in May. Our DS5 enjoyed the characters and we enjoyed the food. We did find breakfast to be a rush. We were more interested in getting to rope drop then our breakfast. Next time, we won't do breakfast at HD (again, we are more interested in rope drop then the food).

Enjoy!

Our last trip to WDW, We did the character Breakfast at H&V And loved it, Great food, Good selection, all you can eat, and the characters sing the Hot Dog Song.

Once they added Handy Manny & Agent Oso, we had no choice but to take DS4 there :lmao:

We had a late breakfast (9:30 I think) and the place was nearly empty. We had tons of interactions with the characters, lots of fun dancing with them when they do their little gatherings in between all the tables, and the food was just fine. Nothing gourmet or overly imaginative, but good, tasty, typical breakfast food.

We were very pleased (particularly after having read several questionable reviews on the boards).

Which characters are at this breakfast now? DD wants to go here to see the Little Einstiens.

We've done it twice and find it pretty comparable to the other breakfast buffets we've done. Perhaps a little simpler fare, but there is plenty of food and we leave stuffed. I know we've had quiche/frittata, several kinds of potatoes and they have a bread pudding in addition to typical breakfast foods.

We are the minority with our opinion of H&V....we LOVE it!! Our daughter was turning 2 when we went in June, so she was very into the characters. She did have a melt down and we ended up leaving before Handy Manny came to our table, but we got to see him in Animation circle afterwards!

The food was good...your typical choices but a few interesting things as well. They had a hash with cornbread on top, biscuits and gravy, grits, potato casserole, mickey waffles, cereal, chicken sausage, bacon...we thought everything was good (except the chicken sausage) and plenty of fresh fruit to pick from as well.

The character interaction was great...every 10 minutes or so, they play a good playhouse disney song and all the characters go to the middle and invite the kids to join in. They do a parade around the restaurant as well!

If your child loves those characters, it will most certainly be worth it. We are going back in December and have 2 H&V ressies because we enjoyed it so much.

I'm with a PP--we have to go there every trip! DGS2 turned 2 on our last trip three weeks ago and that was his second time at H&V. The food is great, the servers are excellent and so kid friendly, and the interaction with the characters(Handy Manny, Oso, June, and Leo) and singing and dancing are wonderful! I loved the corned beef hash with the cornbread on the top! It was awesome! The have lots of pastries, cereals, waffles, eggs, casseroles, and the other stuff other PPs have mentioned. Can't wait to go back!

Fantastic. So glad to hear it. I know DS will have a blast. I gave up the Crystal Palace bfast for H&V because of the characters, and I was afraid that the food wouldn't be up to par.

Thanks!
